ALT Recent research from Anthropic's Frontier Red Team reveals a critical new challenge for the #IoT ecosystem: the emergence of autonomous, AI-enabled malware. Unlike traditional malware that relies on static instructions, these adaptive agents can self-troubleshoot, learn from previous attempts, and adapt to completely unfamiliar hardware environments. In controlled tests, a 26-billion-parameter model successfully distributed its inference workload across a network of inexpensive, compromised devices. The shift for IoT Operators: Cybersecurity strategies can no longer just focus on preventing data theft and unauthorized access. We must now defend against the reality that compromised edge devices can be hijacked and repurposed as distributed computing infrastructure for malicious workloads. Building network resilience means protecting not just the edge devices, but the critical routing and signaling infrastructure that connects them.

ALT 5G Closing the Gap with 4G - India's wireless data market is undergoing a rapid generational shift. While 4G still carries 62.15% of total mobile data traffic (177,375 PB), 5G has already reached 37.63% (107,384 PB) after growing 88.3% year-on-year. By comparison, 4G traffic increased by just 4.0% over the same period. Source: TRAI Oct 6

ALT The global telecom industry is entering the early stages of the 6G investment cycle, with operators, network equipment vendors and governments moving beyond research toward spectrum trials, AI-native networks, advanced antennas, integrated sensing and satellite connectivity. Commercial 6G deployment is still expected around 2029-2030, but decisions being made today on spectrum, RAN architecture, artificial intelligence, fiber, edge computing and non-terrestrial networks could determine which operators and vendors lead the next generation of mobile communications.
