That's clearly a hold especially from that reds vantage point and @Coach_Norvell is right, it's the exact same play and outcome from a prior play that went unpenalized. There is such thing as a make up call too.
This is by far the best camera angle on the holding call that people are still talking about. His left arm cannot be seen from the main tv angle taken from the right side

Yes. Arch is a world class talent. The worst decision he made was going to Texas and playing for Sark and his god awful offense. Mensah is going pro. If Arch came to Miami with Dawson and Toney….. national champions.

If Mensah leaves for the NFL next year (hope not), would you take Archie Manning as our starting QB in Coral Gables? #CANES

My U post game analysis: The Good - #21: solidified himself as our best overall RB. - #1 is amazing!! - #2. Played super solid in a backup role. Ran hard — something to build on for the rest of the season. - #25: Super high football IQ. His heads up play on the fumble recovery was huge! - #1: was all over #32 before he went down with an injury. - #9 continues with his consistent high level play. - 4th down defense. The Bad - Our coordinators. On defense, they were countering our aggression — overpursuing the ball and our 3rd down calls and blitz packages weren't good. On offense, we were too conservative and vanilla with the run plays. I think we overplayed the weather and let that impact of our calls. Dawson continues to be inconsistent. We know he has a deep bag but each year he has a game or two where he leaves it at home. Thankfully, Maribel stepped in when it counted. - #10 needs to do a better job deciding when to use his legs. - #23. Tough day coming off the best game of his career. We were lucky that the Dansby play got overturned. - #22 has to do better on specials — too many penalties this year.

Summary: with all the bad that there was so much good things that come out of this game. All that matters is truly 1-0 and despite the penalties, weather and how that really hurt our field position the first half, the team fought through it all and came home with the W.

Strong quote here from @BYUfootball QB Bear Bachmeirer on beating @NDFootball: “I don’t like talking about myself but Notre Dame disrespected me & my family pretty badly (in 2023). There was no way I was losing to those guys.” @usatodaysports
