We had the pleasure of meeting Shadow Foreign Secretary Tom Tugendhat MP during the Conservative Party Conference. We had a productive and positive discussion on Syria and UK-Syria relations, following which he expressed his intention to visit Syria in the near future. #CPC26

On the second day of the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham, our SBC team was pleased to welcome Mims Davies MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Wales, to the SBC stand.We discussed with her key priorities for British Syrians, including Israeli aggression and immigration.

SBC's representatives attended a parliamentary dinner hosted by @AphraBrandreth MP and former MP Gyles Brandreth in London. The dinner provided an opportunity to strengthen dialogue, with a follow-up meeting with Aphra Brandreth MP to be arranged.

SBC welcomes the statement of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Syria and the recognition of steps taken during the transitional period. We urge continued cooperation, comprehensive accountability, protection of fundamental rights, and institutional reform.
