Hi, my name is Britain! I’m a AAA game dev gone rogue. My wife and I are co-creating our own quality, single-player, story-driven indie game! Our emphasis as of late has been on creating smooth, responsive, and fun combat. Welcome to our adventure! 🧵

When I started becoming openly conservative, I stopped getting job offers in video games. When I was flying the rainbow flag, however, and posting pictures from Pride events before that, I was getting so many offers I was turning them down regularly. There is a major bias in the industry.
I had to animate a gay love scene in Dragon Age with writing so bad I joked to my wife that it was actually going to make me homophobic. It’s ironic that that’s the note my career went out on.

I guess I can say it now - so when applicants would apply to the studio, the producer would go through their LinkedIn to see what posts they liked, and if he disagreed with their political/social Like, he'd advocate not to hire them based on their Like.

We're supposed to take care of the poor, but the scriptures never say that's the government's responsibility. That's the church's responsibility.

Me, a former PlayStation dev, when I find the modder who made PS5 play PS2 discs.
First Classic Horror Movie Night of the year at Inner Space Cavern is tomorrow! I’m terribly excited!! Can’t wait to see everybody have fun enjoying the spookiness we’re about to create!
I’ve met and worked with Debra Wilson, and like this person said, she is in a league of her own. She earned every role she ever got, she is a powerhouse, and not just when the cameras are rolling. Spend five minutes in a room with her and she will knock your socks off and motivate you. It’s something special.
I will forever shake my head at the absolute nonsense that has happened with this company over the past 3-4 years. I’m so gobsmacked by every single obviously bad decision. I don’t think there’s any real gameplan. They’ve lost everybody.
PlayStation in 2026:
- End Destiny
- End physical gaming forever
- End porting exclusives to PC
- Completely lose Hideo Kojima
- Attempt to cancel Kojima's next Metal Gear franchise
- Kojima cuts ties entirely and goes to XBOX
- Force your single-player studios to make live service games
- Concord happens
- Proceed to cancel most of them, losing years of development time and billions of dollars
- Buy Bluepoint and have them make a live-service rather than remakes
- Close Bluepoint down before they release any games
- Start selling vertical stands separately rather than have them come with the console
- Console prices at an all-time high
Genuinely... what is going on at Sony. disaster after disaster, huge L after L. They were my favorite gaming company throughout the PS4 generation but genuinely, how do you lose EVERYONE this fast? Meanwhile, XBOX is taking full advantage of this and priming a major comeback next generation. A literal generational fumble happening at Sony.
When Charlie Kirk died, something in me broke… Whatever it was in me that was still causing me to deceive myself, to cling to an old life, to keep me from dedicating myself fully to truth, from putting my full faith in Jesus Christ, it died that day with him.
The moment he died, I was standing in Freedom Plaza just alongside the 29 Palms Highway in the middle of the desert. I prayed like I hadn’t prayed in years. It was like a floodgate opened. Something changed, and I knew I couldn’t go back.
That week, I gathered with hundreds of strangers on a baseball field in the middle of nowhere, prayed with them, worshipped with them, and spoke with people who were there for the same reason.
I saw in Charlie what I had forsaken in myself: a faith and conviction in Jesus Christ that could move mountains. That was once was the core of who I was. When he died, that part of me that had died cried out and rose from the dead again.
I went to church, and I wept, and wept, and wept.
I rededicated myself to that Living Truth.
Before, I’d never known through experience truly and exactly what I was saved from. After that though, I knew, and could never forget.
God bless Charlie Kirk. May we all have such faith.
Oh… my… gosh…
PlayStation is actively imploding.
An update from PlayStation Studios: After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to step away from collaborating with KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS on its project PHYSINT. We continue to have great admiration for Hideo Kojima's vision for the game.
Our relationship remains strong after three decades of industry-leading, genre-defining creative cooperation, and we look forward to continued close collaboration with Hideo Kojima and his award-winning independent studio in the future.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
PlayStation's statement presents the PHYSINT split as a mutual "step away" after careful consideration with future collaboration expected. Kojima stated PlayStation unexpectedly notified cancellation in mid-June 2026, forcing a 3-month search for a new partner (Xbox).

If this Elizabeth Holmes doc is the first time you’re hearing about Nathan Fielder, you are NOT ready to just jump right in. You need to prep. You need to train. You need to build up your secondhand embarrassment tolerance first. Nathan Fielder is advanced-level discomfort.
This is amazing!
🚨 HUGE! The New York Times is clutching pearls because JD Vance wants federal child care money to follow married couples who keep one parent home.
Up to about $9,000 a year. One parent works. The other raises the kids. Instead of both grinding full time just to pay a stranger to raise them.
Marco Rubio floated the same idea when he was in the Senate. Now Trump’s team is drafting it through existing federal programs. No new circus from Congress required.
The left wants every kid in an institution and both parents on the corporate treadmill.
America First means rewarding the family that stays together and stays home when they can.
