We are delighted that Hereford supporters have tonight voted to Bring Back United. 81% of voters supported a return to our traditional Hereford United name.
We now call upon the shareholders of Hereford FC Limited to support the fans wishes and Bring Back United.

102 years ago today Hereford United played our first competitive game as we took on @AtherstoneTown in the Birmingham Combination League.
In 2004 Atherstone got their name back and soon we will to. Here's the @hufctrust update printed in last week's @HerefordFC programme.

We’d like to show our support for Joseph James and his family following the sad passing of his Mum.
The family are raising money in her memory to support the hospice and the incredible work they do for other families going through similar circumstances.

🎵 There’s only one Adam Stansfield 🎵
16 years ago today Hereford United lost one of our greats as Adam Stansfield sadly died at the age of 31.
Stanno famously got the assist for Hereford United’s opening goal in our 2006 Conference Playoff Final victory.
Adam Stansfield's legacy lives on in both the song our fans still sing to this day and in the great work done by @as9foundation.

20 years ago today 10,000 Hereford United supporters headed to Leicester to watch the Bulls get promoted back to where the club belongs. One day we’ll see Hereford United in the Football League again.

20th May 2006 saw 10k Hereford United fans travel to Leicester for the Conference playoff final. Andy Williams, Guy Ipoua and Ryan Green got the goals to get us back to the Football League.

In November last year, a vote of Hereford United Supporters Trust members saw 81% support a return to our traditional club name of Hereford United. The following month a Special General Meeting of Hereford FC Limited shareholders decided further work should be done to investigate the name change. As we approach 12 months since the vote of supporters, we’ve been asked by supporters to provide an update on Bring Back United.
The Bring Back United group are aware that the club board have authorised a thorough cost analysis of the name change process to take place and this is ongoing. We expect this work to include both the costs of the name change, as well as an analysis of the potential benefits from the name change.
We are fully aware that the club directors undertaking this review are volunteers, who are doing this on top of their existing duties. We would like to place on record our thanks to them for this.
Over recent weeks we have been delighted that support for the name change still remains strong amongst club supporters, with chants being sung and flags being displayed up and down the country as our fans travel to support the team.
Devastating news that Colin Addison has passed away. He will always be one of Hereford United’s greatest icons. Thank you for everything you did to put our club and our city on the map.
Everyone at Hereford FC is devastated to learn of the passing of Hereford United Legend, Colin Addison, at the age of 85.
