On 30th April, Arthur Holscher-Ermert was struck by an unmarked police car on the A259. Whilst he lay in the road dying, Arthur was handcuffed by Sussex Police, who took several minutes to call an ambulance. He died on scene.
The officer responsible hasn't even been suspended.

Our parks did more to preserve mental/physical health this past two years than every health minister in my lifetime, particularly among urban populations lacking a garden or any meaningful outdoor space, and we must jealously guard them from Westminster ideologues in perpetuity.

At the start of the pandemic, I wrote that ‘underlying health conditions’ would be used as euphemism for ‘acceptable death.’ An 8 year old with asthma had their whole life ahead of them. They played, they yelled, they wanted to be a YouTuber when they grew up. They matter.

All mental health trusts need to have crisis lines with an alternative to phone calling, whether that be a messaging service, text or email. Only having a phone line is an accessibility issue and discriminates against people who can’t, or find it hard to, speak on the phone.
