No this is very simple.
First of all most of the accounts that are shouting for this match to be cancelled, are like you. Cowards with made up names and no profile pictures. So you’re not standing up for anything. A bit like removing the trans flag from your bio when you head to one of these countries on a flotilla because deep down you know what they’d do to you if they saw your bio.
Secondly, let’s look at the fact Ireland have played against Qatar, Afghanistan and competed against multiple African country’s with horrific human rights issues, actual genocide and there was nothing from any of you people. Zero!!
But here’s the real issue. In the last 2 years alone, Ireland have played Isreal FOUR TIMES in basketball and absolute crickets from these people claiming to be holier than thou looking to get the match cancelled
So for this reason you must ask yourself why? If this is so important, why did nobody have an issue with the basketball matches being played and the answer is very simple. It wasn’t high profile enough for you guys to get the attention you want
It’s either all in or all out. You don’t get to pick and choose your high moral grounds. Otherwise that’s just called virtue signalling or like most calling for this, hopping on a band wagon because Rosie O’Donnell is on the front seat
If you are doing this because you know it’ll get global attention, then you are standing up for nothing. You’re just looking to get attention. And the people at the top instigating this pile on have a lot to gain from getting such attention and coincidentally enough, they’ve a lot to sell too
I admire anyone that genuinely stands up for what they believe in with an all in attitude but I’m not naive enough to fall for people that are doing this for an alternative motive and I’m also not afraid to call it out

In 2018, Shoji Morimoto discovered a way to make money that sounds completely fake, people would pay him to do absolutely nothing.
And it worked.
The Japanese writer and editor began renting himself out simply to exist beside strangers, no advice, no entertainment, no meaningful conversation required.
People have paid him to go to Disneyland, sit through movies, ride in helicopters, watch them sign divorce papers, and even stay beside them in hospital after a suicide attempt.
His job is basically to show up, listen, occasionally nod, and not judge.
At first, Morimoto charged around 10,000 yen per booking.
The requests exploded.
He completed thousands of sessions, sometimes seeing several clients in one day, and in one reported year earned roughly $80,000 from a job built around doing almost nothing.
He later switched to a pay-what-you-want model and still reportedly receives around 1,000 requests a year.
Morimoto once summed up his entire career with brutal simplicity.
He spent years feeling he wasn’t good at anything. So he decided maybe he was better suited to doing nothing.
It became the first job he ever said truly satisfied him.
