🚨🗣️Maxi López (Former FC Barcelona Player) about the 2010 Ballon d'Or between Messi, Iniesta and Xavi: “On the flight on our way to the ceremony, everyone was happy and content. The Catalan players thought the ballon d'or was for Andrés or Xavi because Leo[Messi] already had like three or four by then. But Messi won it and there was tension inside the plane on our way back....Messi as usual was quiet but sure he took note of the mood. The next day in training they played those typical little matches, the short ones. I wasn't there, but a defender told me about it. He said : 'Messi took everyone for a ride, he destroyed everyone in training.. all of them, in such a way I'd never seen him like that'.....Like he was making a statement, just in case there were any doubts that he was the best of all, by far.”
