Great to hear @SBISD !Collaborative teams focused on the PLC process are a HUGE source of support for new teachers.
Today we launched our UT Thrive Mentorship program in @SBISD. The key to teacher retention is not asking educators to be more resilient, but by building systems of support and collaborative care. Thank you to our Year 1 Cohort campus leaders!

A school does not improve because one heroic principal works harder. A school improves when a disciplined, aligned, credible leadership coalition leads the work together. That sounds simple. In practice, it is incredibly rare. Create that disciplined, aligned team. @SolutionTree

Too many principals assume teachers know common terms, such as PLCs. They might not - like the 2nd year teacher I was with ⬇️
