Great leaders know it's their responsibility to evolve beyond their mentors
There is no greater act of leadership than helping others achieve their goals and think they did it on their own.
My simple "framework" for leadership:
Have enough ego to believe that you can help others get better
Have enough humility to believe that no one owes you obedience without you earning their trust
