Yesterday I accidentally swallowed some food coloring. The doctor says I'm OK, but I feel like I've dyed a little inside.

A mighty Fortress is our God,
A Bulwark never failing;
Our Helper He amid the flood
Of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe
Doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great,
And, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.
Martin Luther

Isn't it interesting how some us will put political bumper stickers on our cars, wear political hats, and even put political signs in our yards, but we are ashamed to proclaim the gospel openly and publicly?

Think before you speak/type. Who knows? The word of affirmation you share could come back to bless you one day.

Galatians 5:13-16 But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

Holding a Bible does not make one a Christian any more than wearing running shoes makes one a sprinter. The nature of the thing is seen in repeated action. Holiness is seen in repeated action. Christ-like love and living is also seen in repeated action.

Claiming that God hates someone is usually an excuse for you to hate them. "Love your neighbor" doesn't leave room for that.

Here is something I've wondered about: If the number 2 pencil is so popular, why is it still number 2?

You can also use your hands. Seasoned amateur astronomers often use their hands to roughly gauge angular sizes of celestial objects. The Moon is half a degree on the sky, which is about half the width of the average finger held at arm's length. timeanddate.com/astronomy/me…

As a Christian, I’ve heard it all from nonbelievers…
“You just believe what your parents told you.”
“You must not know any science.”
“Your faith hasn't been tested.”
Well…
I was raised atheist.
I have a PhD in science.
I’ve lost a child and had cancer.
I’m still a believer.

If your idea of leadership is to put others down to make yourself look good, you probably aren't following Jesus' pattern of leadership.
