We all get complacent and take things for granted, but we all must remember...

IT'S OFFICIAL: I've thrown my name in the hat for Spartanburg County Sheriff. You'll be seeing the signs soon... ***Brian Peahuff for Sheriff*** You're welcome!!

I had not felt that kind of nervousness and excitement about a Clemson football game in quite a while - that was awesome!!!! I wanted to get up and run around the house... 😁😁😁😁 Go Tigers! facebook.com/share/r/Rr1nEWd…

When I think of Spartanburg American Legion Baseball one man is always first in my mind, Jesse "Geno" Campbell. Geno was inducted to the South Carolina American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame last week! You are one of the best and we all love you!!!

I've not been this fired up about Clemson football in a quite awhile, so I thought I'd go ahead and let you know...the Tigers are going to shock the world and beat Georgia in two weeks!!! Write it down...

On the morning of the car accident (33years ago today), I grabbed some Swiss Rolls and a cup of milk on the way out of the door to eat in the car on the way to work at Sears. It was good. I think I'll have some Swiss Rolls sometime today. Today is a good day, and I am blessed!

"Thank you" just isn't enough, but thank you.

Here's the last thing that I'll say about this: For a professional baseball team, the name is very cartoonish. The two favorites that I heard were: 1. The Spartanburg Silver Foxes (David Pearson) 2. The Spartanburg Marshalls (Marshall Tucker Band)

I really haven't been a fan of professional baseball in almost 20 years. I was hoping that the new Spartanburg team might change that a little bit, but I don't think so now. I thought the name "Spartanburgers" was goofy then and it's even more absurd now. Really...

The circumstances are different for every person, but everybody has problems to deal with. We all do what we have to do to get through life...

Nice sermon, Brian Gilmer, tonight at the Cannon's Revival... "God liked to hang out with ragamuffins" - a ragged often disreputable person. especially a poorly clothed often dirty child.

Nine years ago today, I was interviewing Dabo Swinney at the Spring Game for a Spartanburg newspaper. I loved that job! That seems like forever ago... Photo credit: Amy Peahuff

I've always maintained, it's easy to be a good person and do the right thing when everything is going your way. But a person's true character is revealed during times of adversity and when things are hard. youtu.be/pFkXskIqXW4?si=K2UP…

Make plans to help support Jon Reid and his family! And also pray that the Lord gives Jon and his family strength during this difficult time!

Ain't gonna lie it was hard and took me at least 10 years, but I finally got there...

When things get tough in life, how do you respond? Adversity reveals true character...

Most sports careers end after high school or college. Just remember there's more to life than a football or baseball field...

You know it's summertime when Katie starts going to the cool spot under the desk... 😛😁 @AMYCHAR7
