Over on Reddit, Red Hat employees are arguing "RHEL release engineering doesn't allow for patches like this to be accepted" — this indicates CentOS Stream is not an upstream community distribution, as we were all led to believe.
What lies beyond?
Red Hat: Rebuilders contribute n̶o̶ ̶v̶a̶l̶u̶e̶ negative net value to RHEL. Contribute to CentOS Stream!
