The race to superintelligence is becoming a race to build power plants.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang predicts AI reasoning could require a billionfold increase in computing power—and warns that energy and permitting are major bottlenecks.
We'd better get our energy policy right.

America sits on a massive untapped energy resource.
Used nuclear fuel still contains roughly 95% of its original energy. Recycling it could cut nuclear fuel costs by as much as 80%.
We shouldn’t let that energy go to waste.

In a must-read piece, @oklo’s @BrianGitt makes the case for recycling nuclear fuel and diversifying fuel sources to “reduce supply risk, control costs, and help scale advanced nuclear power faster than any single source.” 👇

India is going ALL IN on nuclear power.
It plans to expand its nuclear capacity more than 11× to reach 100 GW by 2047.
A new law opens the door for private companies to build, own, and operate nuclear reactors.
BREAKING: Oklo, NVIDIA, and Los Alamos partner to accelerate nuclear-powered AI factories.
The future of AI is nuclear-powered.
As demand for computing capabilities accelerates, Oklo is collaborating with @NVIDIA and @LosAlamosNatLab to advance nuclear fuel validation, AI-enabled nuclear R&D, and infrastructure studies in support of future nuclear-powered AI factories.
This is how computing and energy research come together to support what’s next.

I used to believe three things about energy.
I was wrong on all three.
• Using less energy is good
• Wind and solar are the best solution
• And that believing this made me a good person
Here’s what changed my mind:

1/ America’s next economic boom has a power problem.
AI, data centers, and advanced manufacturing are driving massive electricity demand.
The real question: where will that reliable energy come from? 🧵 👇@BrianGitt @oklo
Arizona just repealed its renewable mandate after $2.3B in surcharges on customers.
Utilities were forced into politically mandated solar contracts for 20 yrs in one of the sunniest places on Earth.
If solar is the cheapest power, why did bills go up?

Nations rise and fall based on their ability to harness and project energy. Germany shut down reliable nuclear power and tried to replace it with intermittent wind and solar.
Virginia hosts the largest concentration of data centers on Earth.
Electricity demand has surged.
Yet residents still pay below-average electricity prices.
So why are data centers getting the blame?

If you missed the AMAZING @BrianGitt this week on NinjaTrader Live discussing all things nuclear in the US: permitting, timelines, advanced technologies, scalability, and of course Oklo and their model you can catch the replay via the link below! Fascinating interview for anyone interested in the industry. @NTLiveMedia
The media claims nuclear waste is a big scary problem.
They’re wrong.
Nuclear waste recycling is a goldmine!

If the U.S. recycled all of its used nuclear fuel, we could power the entire country for the next 100 years. Yet most media coverage treats nuclear waste as a looming catastrophe. In reality, used nuclear fuel still contains about 95% of its original energy. We're not sitting on a waste crisis. We are sitting on an untapped energy reserve. Throwing it away is like taking one bite of an apple and tossing the rest.
