Trump here does a widdle baby voice to mock people who are complaining about high gas prices, explaining that the oil and gas industry is making “hundreds of billions, trillions.”
It’s never been clearer how much he hates the people who voted for him.

“Socialism is not simply about the policies that we put in place but who fundamentally controls society.”
Houston-based organizer with the PSL, Rachel Domond, joined hundreds at the Minnesota Socialism Summit to talk more about what socialism really means: fundamentally taking the power out of the hands of the billionaires, and putting it into the hands of working people. It’s not enough to change policies — workers make this country run, and should run the country, too!

BT sat down with Marquell Bridges, a Mississippi-based community organizer working with the family of Kohen Wiley, who was sitting on his mother’s lap inside a car in a Walmart parking lot when he was shot and killed by Senatobia Police Officer Hunter Foster in June.
Bridges, who joined Kohen’s father Daveon Williams and other grieving families in St. Paul for the March for Stolen lives, said the officers responding to a shoplifting call over an alleged diaper theft were informed three times that there was a baby present before Foster opened fire, including when Kohen’s mother Vellesiya Wiley held the boy up to show him to police. No charges have been filed against Vellesiya Wiley or the driver of the vehicle, who was also injured in the shooting.
Demands for the release of police and surveillance video are growing across the US, after Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office announced Monday it had determined Foster's use of force was justified — meaning he will not face criminal charges for killing the baby.

Concerned residents packed the Utah County Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday after it unanimously approved a widely unpopular data center ordinance without allowing public comment.
Police quickly moved on concerned residents – including swarming one young woman, dragging her out of the room, and slamming her onto the ground. The woman was left with a concussion and a bruised and swollen jaw. She spent the night in the ER after being released from jail.
An emergency rally was called for Wednesday in response to the brutality. Community members are demanding the termination, arrest, and prosecution of the offending officer – identified as Phil Crawford.

I have pointed out many similarities between now and February, when the US was engaged in diplomacy, but Trump had already decided to attack.
But there is one significant difference as well.
Back then, Trump was driven by hubris and criminally erroneous Israeli advice. Israel had convinced him that he could bring down the regime in a few days
Today, he appears to be driven by another emotion: Revenge.
There is a vindictive element to his calculations now because of his anger over how Iran has ruined his presidency, as he is likely about to suffer a humiliation in the midterms.
So the push toward a new war is no longer necessarily driven by a (flawed) geopolitical calculation, but rather by one man's need for revenge against a country Trump himself CHOSE to attack...

I'm old enough to remember Ukraine before February 2022. Before the great PR makeover. Before billions in British public money started flowing. Before the swastikas were quietly airbrushed out of the picture and yesterday's neo-Nazi problem became today's inconvenient history.
Back in January 2015, Ross Kemp travelled to Ukraine for his Extreme World documentary series, investigating the rise of the far right and the Azov Battalion, including its neo-Nazi elements and symbolism.
This was British mainstream television, not Russian propaganda.
Funny how quickly history gets rewritten when the geopolitical interests change and the public chequebook comes out.
Of course, Ukraine's corruption, extremist movements and internal divisions didn't magically disappear in February 2022. But suddenly, mentioning what British journalists had openly reported for years was enough to get you branded a Kremlin sympathiser.
Well, here's Ross Kemp reporting from Ukraine in 2015, long before the political rebranding.
No Russian bots. No Kremlin script. Just the history they would rather you didn't remember.

One-year old Kohen Wiley is dead — and his family will receive no justice. End the war on Black America!
Earlier this year, Senatobia Police Officer Hunter Foster fired into a vehicle while responding to an alleged shoplifting incident — killing 1-year old Kohen Wiley. Yesterday, the Mississippi AG ruled the use of force was justified.
Kohen's mother and her friend were immediately targeted by police, despite no evidence of their involvement in the alleged theft. As they drove away, Foster opened fire into the vehicle. Police claim the vehicle was driving toward officers, but initial autopsy findings suggest Kohen was shot from the side, not the front. The alleged stolen items? Diapers and baby clothes. Items that any family needs to care for a child.
Kohen’s tragic murder is yet another reminder of the value of Black life under the racist, capitalist system. That retrieving baby clothes and diapers takes precedent over a precious 1-year-old’s life makes clear the absolute corrupt nature of the system.
Kohen Wiley should be alive today. His family deserves justice — not another official ruling excusing his murder. Justice for Kohen Wiley! End the war on Black America!

Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office announced Monday it had completed its review of the shooting that killed one-year-old Kohen Wiley, and that the "use of force was justified," meaning the state will not bring criminal charges in the case.
Kohen's family and local activists are demanding the release of police video of the shooting, which authorities have yet to make public.
The toddler was shot and killed on June 14 when a Senatobia, Mississippi police officer, identified in state records as Sgt. Hunter Foster, fired into a moving car with Kohen, his mother, and his mother's friend in a Walmart parking lot while responding to a shoplifting call over alleged stolen diapers. Kohen was sitting in his mother's lap. The friend, who was driving, was also shot and wounded.
Kohen's mother has denied she or her friend stole anything. Neither have been charged with shoplifting or any other counts, according to online state and county court records.
Monday's ruling comes weeks after Senatobia fired its police chief over racist language, and as Foster has been accused in an internal complaint of making a racist remark to a Black colleague two days before the shooting.

French Presidential Candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon:
‘If I am President of France🇫🇷, we will NOT go to war alongside the Americans against China🇨🇳 over Taiwan, because Taiwan is part of China. We will negotiate with the Chinese because if we don't, we will be CRUSHED.’
Every now and again, a semblance of common sense emerges from the European sea of delusion and vassalage.
Gerald Celente: 'NO WAY the US🇺🇸 could beat China🇨🇳 in a war. It couldn’t beat Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, or Iran.'
‘They’ll make up anything they want. 9/11, everybody forgot about it. 92 percent of the Americans, according to the Gallup poll, swallowed the baloney coming out of little Georgie Bush’s mouth: “We’re going to get that guy Osama bin Laden, dead or alive.” When all else fails, they take you to war. Europe is ramping up the spending in war. The facts are all there, and it’s not going to stop.
If they go to war against China, you couldn’t beat the Vietnamese, you couldn’t beat the Iraqis, you couldn’t beat the Afghans. What makes you think you’re going to beat the Persians? And there’s no way you’re going to beat the Chinese. They’re very advanced militarily.
Our greatest fear is nuclear war. Israel has what they call the Samson Option. They say if they’re losing against Iran, they’re going nuclear, and they have between 90 to 400 nuclear warheads. Russia has also warned that if they invade areas near the Baltic Sea where shipping is going through, they’re going nuclear.
There’s no peace going on.’

Corporate Democrats are now just screaming the quiet part - they are openly admitting they would rather have GOP/MAGA rule than work with the populist wing of the Democratic Party
James Carville says he'd rather have Republicans keep control of the House than Democrats winning the chamber by 5 seats.
"I would rather the Republicans keep the House by five than the Democrats win by five, because if that happens, they’re hostage to the DSA. Like, Hakeem cannot move. There’s no place for him to go."
