I grieve and weep for all of the survivors of sexual violence who don’t have the fucking energy or capacity to sue. Or who tried and didn’t have enough evidence. May the Cornell 7 burn in the depths of hell.
Fraternities should be completely abolished. So many students have been assaulted, tortured, and even killed. It is a breeding ground for rape, abuse, overdoses, alcohol poisoning, and straight up death. Just this year an 18 year old student died from injuries sustained at a Cal State Fullerton fraternity. These things happen every year and I can only imagine how much stuff we don’t know about because it never got exposed.
Fraternities are cults that make guys think they’re untouchable and can get away with whatever they want because of the “brotherhood” within the fraternity. Think about all of the guys in that group chat who never said anything about their 7 frat brothers advertising a drugged student as “free pussy” to be raped for hours. They could have said something but didn’t. She could have died during the assault and they all would have been complicit. Now think about all the other stuff that probably goes on in these frats. They should be completely abolished.

fraternities exist to train young men into being willing to do *anything* to be a part of the in group. to accept any kind of abuse if the abuse is coming from a position of power. the humiliation rituals are the entire point
And castrate them to be honest. And stop this capitalist system that encourages and promotes power dynamic structures that are inherently predatory.

On the *same day* the Cornell Seven drugged and raped Jane Doe, Cornell banned four students (including the President of Cornell @jvplive) from campus for three years for nonviolent, pro-Palestine protests. The same @Cornell officials let the rapists off with apology essays.
