"If I could go back in time to give myself advice, I'd tell myself to do the exact same thing I actually did anyway." Weird way to say you don't regret something.
Last year (age 33) I was tryin to decide about getting a mini facelift, as I'd gone to a plastic surgeon and said "what would you do to make me hotter" and he'd recommended it. I asked around me for advice on doing the lift, and ppl mostly told me not to do it, that i was too young. I did go ahead and do it anyway. The change was subtle but awesome, and I'm really glad I did. If I had to go back in time to give myself advice I'd say absolutely go for it and not listen to everyone else. If you're going to do medical procedures to look youthful, why not start as soon as you notice yourself looking less youthful? (photographer @drethelin, taken a few weeks ago)

Global meritocracies can't exist because meritocracy relies on the idea of an objective set of rules and standards that judge merit In one country a test is something you study hard for but take honestly so accurate measures of ability are reached, in another it is something you obviously cheat on to get ahead, what kind of idiot would risk their future to be honest? In some countries a degree is something you work hard for to show your merit, in others it's a piece of paper you obviously forge if you need to get a better job In some countries the price on a shelf is the same for everyone, in other countries price is something you haggle over or a way to show favoritism, anyone paying the stated price is a sucker Anyone telling you that young Americans need to compete with a global labor market that doesn't even hold the same understanding of merit is either a fool or an agent of a foreign power

Everyone knows about how USAID was funding a constellation of left wing NGOs, which fed back resources into the Democrats and social justice efforts. Everyone knows this happens in big cities, too. Municipal government contracts are doled out for do-nothing, no-show jobs all the time. With AI tools, it's never been easier to dig into your local, red county government budgets and contracts. It's imperative that you identify and kill these contracts and budget proposals where your own town or county government gets roped into funding left wing groups. If you want to stop your county from turning purple, this is something you must do. Otherwise, these groups will find a way to legally use your own taxpayer dollars against you. Please send me a DM or comment below if you have experience doing this. Let's work on a short guide that can get our people started across the country.

This is obviously a scorned psycho woman trying to get personal revenge on Elon. I have no idea why people are even pretending like this is a political transformation, or treating her political views as serious thoughts. “How could she switch up like this?” Really? You don’t see how? We’ve seen over the past month that politics is actually just personal grievance for a LOT of women. I’m not sure why it’s “sexist” to call out what’s blatantly obvious. We’re not obligated to take seriously the political opinions of people who are themselves claiming they don’t have agency or personal responsibility for their decisions. She’s literally just a crazy b*tch who’s mad that her baby daddy reduced his already absurdly high child support check. The political thing is just an act, because she really is that psycho. Don’t forget that she spent years trying to baby trap Elon. That’s all there is to the story. She’s just insane.
Ashley St. Clair knew Charlie. She was employed by Charlie and at one time was friends with him. He boosted her career when she was grifting off the right before it became clear she was grifting off the right. For her to sing Bella Ciao is abhorrent. You’re not “fighting fascism.” You’re mocking Charlie’s murder.

Africans were never meant to live anywhere. Their population was collapsing until they were rescued and propped up by Europeans, fed and clothed and brought out of Africa, to be coddled all over the world. They were headed for the dustbin of extinction. What a grave error.

Telling men who have perfectly good hygiene and would plan a nice date if they could find a girl to go out with "you're single because you don't shower" is a personal attack because it's gaslighting them on where the problem lies This is obvious to anyone not willfully ignorant
Dudes in the comments acting like ‘take a shower, plan a date, and bring flowers’ is a personal attack.😂 The birth rates will never recover. 🤦‍♀️

The death penalty does little to deter crime or deliver justice for victims. It has no place in the 21st century and should be abolished. More from @UNHumanRights on Saturday’s World Day against the Death Penalty: ohchr.org/en/topic/death-pen…

An important thing to understand about female psychology is that they connect concepts to feelings and thoughts, which is why they sincerely think that their own personal intention is somehow related to how people will understand them. It’s literally “when I wear tight shorts on my date with that hot guy, that’s me inviting him to stare at my ass. When I wear them to the gym, I don’t want not-hot guys looking at me”, in their mind, their feelings have the power to alter reality.
One of my favorite things about women is how quickly they flip between "how are you so dense, OBVIOUSLY that was flirting" and "omg can't I do anything without guys thinking it's flirting?"

When it comes to executions, the mental state of the convicted is literally the least relevant mental state of anyone in the world.
Texas executed a man with an IQ under 70. Who didn’t even understand the process that was going to happen to him. Who said if the execution was botched, the warden would just shoot him in the head. He asked his spiritual advisor why everyone was crying around him the day of his execution. I’m not saying what he did was right. I am saying our values and ethics are fucked when it comes to govt sanctioned murders.

I predict that this is going to go the opposite way from what the squishes like this think. I think people will be mildly stunned, but then feel a weight lift off of them. They will look around and say "That's it? That's all we have to do?"
Has anyone considered the PR consequences of livestreaming the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan? He is today an elderly man with graying hair. A wheelchair-bound parapalegic. Rolling an elderly man in a wheelchair out to be executed by firing squad is NOT the PR win that Hegseth thinks it is. It won't be like a dramatic TV show. It will be tawdry and ugly. It will probably backfire. The world will be appalled- and it may make a martyr of Hasan, inspiring his extremist followers.

"You just shoot him, and then life goes on, except without that terrorist? It's that simple? Why don't we do this more often?" The cultural impact will be large, but in the opposite direction of what these people predict.

If the English don't exist as an ethnic group, then neither do Jewish people. If the English don't have a distinct claim to their own homeland, then neither do Jews in Israel. Danny thinks the English don't, but Jewish people do. We're not playing this game anymore. The double standard doesn't work. If it's good enough for you, it's good enough for me too. If you want it for yourself, and it works, but you say that I can't have it, then you're just looking out for your own interest. If that's the game we're playing, then I'll look out for mine by not listening to you.

We need, like, hobo ranches. Fenced in, with huts, a basic cafeteria and nurse's office. No other laws enforced, except keeping them in. They can only leave by going through a parole board. No political enfranchisement.
This slide presented yesterday really shows the need for something like 'No Wrong Door' There are 950 high risk homeless people that cost the county 137 million in repeat EMS + healthcare + criminal calls / costs I'm not fully convinced the plan will work yet, but I pray that it does , I'm not sure the no wrong door really has an involuntary commitment component, TBD

Good development. But expect some resistance as the liberal vanguard realizes that once this precedent is established, the acceptability of queerness will re-enter the debate.
A senior at Harvard observes “a narrative emerging among young people that more than just consent is required to make a sex act ethical.” “In the Cornell Daily Sun, a student says fraternities function as ‘a market, where women are seen as commodities.’” “A Dartmouth contributor lambasts frat culture where brothers ‘humiliate and degrade’ and that teaches ‘men to treat women and each other like subhuman objects.’” “The emerging picture is of a sexual ethic that cannot be satisfied simply by one liberal-autonomous agent assenting to the action of another. The new ethic requires upholding the dignity and respect of the human being involved. Respecting women is incompatible with drug-fueled orgies where the ‘shop’ is ‘open,’ regardless of how consensual said orgy may or may not be.”

If sexual morality is more than just consent, then suddenly you *do* get to have an opinion about what other people "do in their own bedrooms."
