Went to see You Can See Everything before SCarolina played Tenn yesterday. That was a wild ride (both the game and the movie). Didn’t get a movie poster picture, apologies @zzgator

On this day in 2003, The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter at Walt Disney World closed forever.  Guests visited a futuristic corporation to witness a teleportation demonstration, but things went horribly wrong when a dangerous alien was accidentally transported into the theater. Trapped in their seats in near-total darkness, guests experienced surround sound, air blasts, and physical effects that made it feel like the creature was hunting them. It became infamous for being unusually terrifying for a Disney park attraction and was eventually replaced by Stitch’s Great Escape! in 2004.

Anytime a hurricane is approaching I post or repost this story about mama and dad and Hurricane Hugo. It’s that time again. Enjoy
Ok, bear with me because I’m gonna go on a little tweet spree and tell a story. Today is the 14th anniversary of my dad’s passing. Also, there’s a hurricane coming. This is a good time for me to retell about Hugo and my parents.....

Perfect picture for the article
Walt Disney World has increased prices at more than a dozen character meals, prix fixe locations, and buffets. Here's a closer look at the changes 🔗 blogmickey.com/2026/10/disne…

With two park days I went with the somewhat obvious choice of Epcot and MK. Didn’t do multi-pass, but did get single pass for Guardians. Decided to rope drop it so I’d get two semi-low waits on it. Waited about 30 minutes at open then 10 with the lightning lane….

I’d probably get a different sauce next time, but the brandy peppercorn certainly wasn’t bad. While it might not be back to its former glory, Le Cellier was very good and I can see myself getting another ADR there before long….

Finished up my afternoon with single rider Ratatouille. It was my first time since they did away with the 3D. I actually think I like this version more. Spent some time resting at the resort before just enjoying World Showcase. I’ll post MK thoughts later.

That’s all for now. I’ll go over my Epcot day later. Hope everyone is doing well.

Did something a little different on check-in day. With no park ticket for that day I decided to take a bus to DHS, Skyliner to Epcot, and then the boat to Boardwalk. I really enjoy the Skyliner and this was my only chance to ride it this trip. Added the boat because why not.

At the boardwalk I tried Blue Ribbon Corndogs and Cake Bake shop for the first time. The Mexican Street dog was better than I expected and if I’m in the area I can see myself getting it again. The cake from Cake Bake was good but not $22 good. Probably one and done.

Saturday morning before college football is as good a time as any for me to post my thoughts on last week’s WDW trip. It’ll be a few different threads starting with All Star Music…..

I had a preferred room that was on the bottom floor. Checked in at front desk like I always do so I could make sure the correct card was on file and my ancient magic band worked. Everything went smoothly probably due to many people checking in online…

Only bought food from the food court once, the meatball sub. It’s nothing special but it does the trick. Also bought a refillable mug which I used often. Overall, AllStarMusic was fine but knowing what to expect, as I mentioned earlier, is important. Won’t be back for awhile.
