people are so weird when you tell them someone in your family died and the first question they ask you is
“were you close?” So they can decide how much sympathy to give you, like does it matter? someone died, weirdos.
it’s both a blessing and a curse to have a large close knit family because the reality of the matter is eventually all will die and your heart will be ruptured at every single passing.
I lost my strong, healthy, youthful Uncle to a sudden heart attack yesterday and the pain is immeasurable.
Having to explain to people that even though he was my late Aunts husband he meant so much to all of us including me, I am the saddest I’ve been in a very long time 😔
