Watched the Sabin doc as the rain comes down all morning. A lot of wisdom in this thing, much of it certainly applies to everyday living. Simultaneously the Mexican roofers are finishing up a new const roof, rain and all.

I have been working outdoors all summer, 95-100 degrees, just kept hydrated, and wore my hat and sun apparel. Just completed the barn/workshop, now working on the electrical service and such. Funny how 90 feels just fine. I'm going on my 4-mile walk, its 94, feels 85.

I missed the gym for 2 months - building on the farm was the cause. Back today, damn I lost a lot, quickly, and the regs' really looked good, Time to get to work.
Parenting can be hard, but the score only presents itself many years later. As I find out the problems many parents are having with their adult children, I am grateful for the adult men my boys became. An asshole/high standards parenting worked out. Wow I get smarter each year.

Given the recent College players going pro and back - seems I was also a professional athlete. Many years ago -, in my Rugby days, a major airline flew us to Austin TX - played UT and the local club team the next day, flew back - seems that was worth much more $$ than these dude

@elonmusk i was made for this. Master Electrician, Fiber splicer ( ribbon fiber, loose tube) dabbled in DWDM, I am what some call a wizard with a EXFO OTDR, also i develop software, one specifically for EV owners and avoiding a huge cost upfront for panel upgrades. So in a Data Center you need the power to run it and also the fiber to let it talk. im all in one and I am hilarious. Be on the lookout for my email. Thank you @vivilinsv for the heads up.

All these posts: if you can't bench ### you are soft. I don't bench, do lots of fitness stuff, after 45 min cardio, with a 4x4 inside that, ab/core that most can't do, and several supersets tri/bi, heading out put 135 on the bar, 10 reps. 69 and fat, yeah, softy walks among us.
Today is here, make the best of it. One of my favorite quotes - the only easy day was yesterday. To follow up- no more complaining, All good or none. As D Goggins reminded me - just pick up that fucking log, pick up that fucking boat - it is time to go. STFU and do.
