No less than its southern cousins, MAGA North will swallow any line Trump puts out, and repeat it faithfully. And, no less than its southern cousins, MAGA North puts America, not Canada, first.
Imagine if another country spent millions using a video of one of our beloved leaders, edited to twist their words and used it to turn us against our own government. How would we respond?
If the US, still the most powerful nation on earth, allowed this to happen without consequences, it would send a message to the world that such interference is acceptable.
Trump isn’t acting out of hurt feelings, he’s sending a message that this kind of behaviour won’t be tolerated, not from us and not from any other country. This isn’t about Canada even though some of us want to think it is, it’s about him protecting America’s position in the world and subsequently putting Americans first.
This constant disrespect toward the U.S. needs to stop. It hurts us far more than it hurts them. We should be repairing our relationship, not destroying it further. We have such incompetent leaders.
Former Chief of police @evanbrayshow white washing the reputation of a couple of criminals and platforming them as working class heroes. Give me a break.

Look, Carney knew the real name of the drummer on the first Clash album, unprompted.
That kind of knowledge is what Canada needs, now.

The lockout at Heritage Inn Hotels in Saskatoon and Moose Jaw is about to reach 500 days — a stark reminder of the ongoing fight for fairness for UFCW 1400 members. Despite months of attempts to negotiate a fair contract, hotel owners have refused to come to the table.

Manitoba now has the strongest 50% +1 card check and anti-scab law in Canada. Grateful for a leader that prioritizes fair wages and the right to unionize. mfl.ca/strongest/
320 electoral college votes, Harris landslide and the beginning of the end of maga and the orange menace. Here we go! #HarrisWalz2024InALandslide
Scott Moe declined federal dollars designated for homeless shelters because he chose partisan stubbornness over the needs of constituents. Just another example of his indifference to the must vulnerable in our province. #skvotes
A big win today for @queermomentum
In a time when transgender individuals face disproportionate levels of discrimination, violence, and marginalization, it is critical that we understand the full scope of these challenges and develop effective strategies to address them.

Solidarity with all the workers at Heritage Inn in Saskatoon and Moose Jaw, who have been locked out by a greedy employer for a year. No one should be punished for standing up for fair wages and better conditions. Stay strong—your fight is our fight! ✊ #SupportLockedOutWorkers
No wonder it’s so expensive to fly. I can’t imagine how much @AirCanada pays out each year in hotel/meal vouchers, future travel credit and lost luggage claims.
