Commission for @HpontiqTonicq
"Fiona Hpontiq, who goes by the rapper moniker “Hpontiq Tonicq” is a 6”3’ tall, caramel skinned blonde Hip-Hop artist and DJ with unparalleled skills. She personifies and embodies the original 4 elements of the Hip-Hop genre and always represents them in her daily life in different mediums. Be it her love of the graffiti on her albums, outfits and different pieces around the city of South Central and also to the fact that Fiona incorporates breakdancing and various form of Hip-Hop dances into her techniques, primarily focuses on the 90’s style of MC and DJ Rap using hard hitting beats, powerful lyrics and wordplay, loves to do DJ scratches, and adds them in every song, if not creating a song just so show off her skills on the decks.
Being a skilled musician since birth, Fiona opted to direct her attention into Hip-Hop music, practicing and honing her skills by rapping on street corners, underground clubs, and in various battles across her city. She learned the breaks, how to count bars, the proper way to scratch and flow her skills effortlessly through hard work and dedication, becoming the best at what she does at the ripe age of 24. Her whole aesthetic fits the bill as well, as she’s always in baggy B-Girl outfits, is always wearing fresh sneakers, has plenty of jewelry with her name and stage name on them, and even wears a set of knuckle dusters that read her stage name Hpontiq Tonicq.
If you see an album, be sure to grab a copy 😁"
Thank you Eric for giving our favorites their “voice.” His excitement and love for them was always evident, his passion undeniable. Saddened to hear of this sudden, tragic news. My heart and thoughts are with Eric’s family and loved ones.
RIP Eric Bauza.
Eric Bauza, the Emmy Award-winning voice actor behind Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, died Sunday at his home as a result of hypertensive cardiovascular disease, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records. He was 46.

Eric Bauza was a unique voice talent who brought joy and laughter to millions around the world. During his 15 years at Warner Bros. Animation, he was the voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck among countless other characters. He followed in the footsteps of giants like Mel Blanc. Eric said that carrying on the legendary legacy of the Looney Tunes was among the greatest honors of his life. In addition to his incredible talent, Eric was a treasured part of our animation family. Our hearts go out to his loved ones.
-Channing Dungey (Chairman, Warner Bros. Television Group and US Networks) and Bill Damaschke (President & Chief Creative Officer, Warner Bros. Pictures Animation)
I had the honor of meeting Eric a few times through my friend Kali. An absolutely kind soul, and indescribably talented voice actor. Whipped out Bugs and Daffy voices at the drop of a hat. He brought Looney Tunes back to life for me. This is shocking. He will be sorely missed.

Gracias, amigo. My life was immeasurably changed for the better by having met Eric Bauza in 2003. He just made everything he worked on better. A generational talent. A legend. I would write and design characters giddy thinking how he would bring them to life. And behind the scenes, an incredibly kind, humble and open-hearted good dude. How luck we all were to have been able to witness his talent shine. And boy did it shine!!! My heart goes out to his family and friends. Adios, amigo. You will never be forgotten.
I went to Lightbox Expo yesterday, and I just put some of bumpers I've made on my phone, just in case.
Here's a GTA style bumper I made for FNF 168
So, here are the bumpers I created for @LeJeanX3 Friday Night Fights(FNF) piece today. I wanted to do a graffiti style graphic. I also wanted to do more, like swooshes to represent Chun-li's kicks. But, I remember "less is more." Bumpers are a compliment, not the focal point.

Done for Friday Night Fights. Slick bumper text done by @BrandonianSyn
Designed based off one of Chun's unused designs.

Doing the bumpers (title cards for those saying "?") for FNF is a fun endeavor, and being fortunate enough to see ReJean's artwork will always inspire me to come up with new ideas.
Thanks!

I had the honor of creating the title card, and Red is a phenomenal artist who did a phenomenal job on this comic, purely for the love of the game. Please have a read, and enjoy it like I did. Congratulations on your release, Red!

A graphic -I call it a bumper- that I made for an artwork from our social art/gaming group, The Hype Lounge, and our weekly meetup, Friday Night Fights. The number represents how many weeks. Set in the classic Power Stone style. I've done other bumpers as well.

I don't just play fighting games--I've been slowly trying to make one for quite awhile now. From time to time I'll show bits and pieces of what I'm working on. Slowly on the way to getting a small demo going. I hope people who love my art and love fighting games can converge.
