The 'Halloween' thing could also apply to half my videos, so it must be something else.

Halloween?
That movie is so ‘90s cable movie it’s remarkably entertaining.
😂
Not sure what the reason is but the algorithm seems to have picked up my "Vampirella" video again after 3 years. It must be cuz' of Roger Daltrey, right?

Damn, RIP Marjoe
We just lost another legend today 😔
Oscar-winner, child preacher to Hollywood actor, Marjoe Gortner lived one of the most unusual careers in American entertainment. 🕊️
Marjoe Gortner has passed away at 82, leaving behind a life that moved through religion, documentary filmmaking, television and some of the strangest cult movies of the 1970s and ’80s.
Ordained as a preacher at just four years old, Gortner spent much of his childhood on the revival circuit before later exposing that world in the 1972 documentary Marjoe, which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
He eventually reinvented himself again as an actor, appearing across disaster films, science fiction, Westerns and horror.
Some of his most memorable works included:
- Marjoe
- Earthquake
- Starcrash
- Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw
- The Food of the Gods
- When You Comin’ Back, Red Ryder?
- The Gun and the Pulpit
- Mausoleum
- American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt
- Falcon Crest
Few performers could say they lived several completely different careers in one lifetime. Marjoe Gortner did exactly that.
Rest in peace, Marjoe Gortner. 🤍
Time once again for another exciting out-of-context riff from my next video.
"Ah yes, quicksand: the thing that movies made us all think was a big deal, then we got older and found out that it really isn’t."

Yes, based on a Filipino comic book (or 'komiks magasin') Sadly I don't think the baby with a snake head makes an appearance in the movie.
Well, I've tried multiple times but it looks like my "Avenging Force" review is gonna join the ever-growing list of Patreon-only videos. Sorry everybody, but it's available there if you want to see it.

"So this guy's like a reverse Bruce Wayne? He started out as Batman & became a regular civilian after his parents were killed?"
