Every single year the Guardians run the exact same blueprint:
Sign one bottom of the barrel washed free agent nobody else wanted. Run a platoon across half the lineup with players who wouldn’t make most MLB rosters. Pray Jose Ramirez, pitching, and unproven rookies can patch the rest together.
Usually it’s good enough to win the American League Central. It’ll never be good enough to win a World Series.
Put together a serious MLB roster for once.

I don’t care how many people disagree, Rick Manning is awesome.
A true pro at color commentary. Doesn’t talk too much. Knows the game. Calls it how it is. Well-timed humor. Good voice.
He has some oldhead takes, but he’s overall a joy to listen to.
It’s a shame MLB and/or the Guardians have cut so many of his games and forced Chris Gimenez on us.

Cooper Ingle was scrolling social media in his hotel room in Omaha when there was a knock at the door. He figured it was housekeeping and politely declined. Another knock. Another decline. Another knock. Ingle’s teammate answered. It was their manager. “You’re going to the bigs.”

I do not know what Cleveland did to deserve Jose Ramirez but build the statue NOW.
BREAKING NEWS: Jose Ramirez is a Guardian for the long haul. The third baseman star has signed a new deal: 7-year, $175 million extension through the 2032 season.
In April, 2022, Ramirez and the Guardians agreed on a five-year, $124M contract extension.

No one wants to talk about it, but I don't think we have much longer with Tom Hamilton in the booth.
He's 71. He'll enter his 37th season this year.
Appreciate him while he's still here. God I hope he gets to call a World Series championship for the Guardians.

José Ramirez on Cleveland:
“I owe this city a lot. Since the day I arrived, I’ve never once been booed by these fans. I’ve seen how crowds in other stadiums treat players when results don’t come quickly, and that’s never happened here” #GuardsBall

Best Cleveland Sports moment of 2025?
I genuinely think this might be my personal favorite. Poetic way to wrap what was a magical September for the Guards
