This was 1000% the only play to call right here. I was shouting it at my TV. The only other thing I asked for was a second play so they didn’t have to spike.
And based on Marion’s reaction after the spike, I think he may have actually sent two plays in here which was the move.
One thing I’ll say about the kick return TD that I haven’t seen talked about tonight, even one time, is that it’s really the kickers fault.
That was a terrible line-drive kick that almost always spells a large return

Buffs D-line is very physical and have been great plugging gaps and taking on double teams in the run game.
Doesn’t look like an overly athletic group, hasn’t been able to create pressure when LBs aren’t blitzing.
But so far, so good. Defense looks much improved.
