Happy Columbus Day! 🇺🇸 🇮🇹
A few years ago, while in Seville Spain, I visited its historic cathedral. There, I was fortunate enough to see the tomb of Christopher Columbus - an experience that reminded me of the remarkable journeys that shaped our world.

RI is 1 of only 12 states with an estate tax - taking up to 16% of a legacy you already paid taxes on.
RI Senate Republicans are fighting to reduce this unfair double-taxation. Your life's work belongs to your family, not the government.

Providence is a capital city - not a socialist experiment.
Ideology has a price tag.
JUST IN: In a blow to the hospitality industry in RI, the US Conference of Mayors has decided not to host its annual meeting in Providence.
The event was to be hosted at the RI Convention Center and was expected to draw hundreds to the region in June.

Senator Rogers:
“Let’s set goals we can meet, keep pace with our neighboring states & be honest with people about the costs-ECRI & I disagree about how to get there-not about whether clean air & clean water matter. Affordability & reliability come first”

Glad to be at Davies today for the groundbreaking of its new 48,000-square-foot, $35 million expansion. I was pleased to support this investment, which will expand career and technical programs and prepare students for jobs Rhode Island needs.

25 years after 9/11, our memory of the lives lost remains sharp and our gratitude for heroic first responders never fades. We stand with the families still carrying this weight and the service members fighting terror worldwide. We will never forget. 🇺🇸 @JessicaforRI

RI Senate Republicans are dedicated to fighting for policies that lower the cost of living, support small businesses, and create high-paying jobs. You build our communities, and you deserve a state where your hard work lets you thrive, not just get by. Thank you, RI Workers!

Senator Gordon Rogers pushes back on unfunded state mandates: Year after year, the state government passes laws requiring local communities or schools to do something but provides zero funding to pay for it. They get the credit, you get the bill.

Normally, sales tax is
MA 6.25%
RI 7%
Today & tomorrow:
MA 0%
RI 7%
MA is telling you to shop.
RI is telling you to pay up.

Recently, Democrat candidates for Rhode Island Attorney General made several claims about guns, semiautomatic firearms, and the Second Amendment.
There was a lot of misinformation, but one candidate’s comments were particularly inaccurate and misleading.
In this video, I fact-check those claims and explain why precision matters - especially for someone seeking an office sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution.

On Gene Valacenti’s new show, “Gene Off Script”, I talked about Rhode Island’s absence from the state fair. While Congressman Seth Magaziner dismissed it as a “sh*t show.”
Too often, hatred for a president has overshadowed love of country and even love of our own state. Rhode Islanders deserve leaders who will put our state first and proudly represent us.

Happy Fourth of July! Not only are we celebrating the 250th year of independence, but this year was also the 100th annual Ancients and Horribles Parade — the funnest parade in Rhode Island.
Special thanks to all the people who participated, volunteered to make it happen, and came out to celebrate with us in the middle of a heat wave!
