8/10, hope it gets a sequel
They strayed away from being too serious, which is sorta what all action/action-comedies have done after MCU stuff. When I watched the first trailer I was expecting a Kung Fu Hustle kind of romp, and I got that.
However...
They were sorta nailing serious when they had to and it makes me wonder what a more straight take would have been like.
Obviously they tried "serious" and got laughed out of the theater in '94, but I think today's audience would have been much more receptive to the lore nowadays

People are confused. It’s not just that I don’t want to watch a public execution (I wont). I don’t want anyone to watch one. I don’t want anyone to be able to. It’s a matter of collective moral psychology and civic culture. You people despise the other countries who do this.
Btw, when you play at home in suboptimal settings and then go to a local where all the optimal settings are on and the equipment "feels laggy" to you, you should actually both double check with your TO (because something could legit be off) or double check your personal setup.
