Clearly the past two years have gotten the better of me. Kim is a Graduate with Distinction for 2022.
Congratulations to @BragerLab undergrads Priya Kale and Soham Jadhav for presenting their work on using Golgi staining to look at dendritic spines in the adult hippocampus of Fragile X mice at the UT Undergraduate Research Forum.

Got official confirmation of our new grant from CDMRP (@CDMRP) to investigate voltage-gated ion channel function in Tuberous Sclerosis. Will be looking for students interested in learning cellular neurophysiology and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Had a meaningful day reminiscing about the life and legacy of Dr. Rick Gray @farmboyrick2. Seeing all the people whose lives Rick touched was so special. A neurophysiology scholarship has been established in his honor - give.utexas.edu/ (Richard Gray Memorial Scholarship)

I wanted to share the sad news of the passing Dr. Rick Gray @farmboyrick2. He was a pillar in the neuroscience community and wonderful colleague to all. He was always generous with his time and knowledge; a more selfless person in science there was not. He will be dearly missed!

Greg just gave a great talk to graduate student recruits illustrating why just because your initial hypothesis is incorrect, doesn't mean the project stops.
