This is a pretty good group of movers and shakers in women's boxing!

what is your favorite division in women's boxing? One possibility is the very deep Super Flyweight division. If you don't know about it watch this edition of @WomensBoxingOff where we spotlighted this talented division. youtu.be/_S2nmVTDN4A?si=-v2g… via @YouTube

The influx of young talented boxers now in women's boxing is insuring the continued growth and success of the sport. I wrote about this in my @ringmagazine column in an issue a few months the ago. You can do there and check it out.

I've announced many of Sebastian Fundora's fights and he is a very good fighter. He also happens to be a fine young man. However, I think he will not beat Boots Ennis. Tonight's fight is a good indication of that. If tonight's opponent had the power Ennis does, his punches may have done what Brian Mendoza did to Fundora. Ennis has a terrific chin and he punches harder than Mendoza or Lubin, who also hurt Fundora.

Fundora got a late stoppage & certainly would have won if the fight went the distance. He didn't need assistance from Referee Thomas Taylor who dogged Hadibeaj all night & needlessly took two points away for holding. Referees are as blatant as many judges in showing favoritism for the favored fighters in a match. Taylor used to be one of best refs in boxing, now he is just the opposite--far too anxious to put his own imprint own a fight with too much involvement that often seems unfair to one of the boxers.
