Charles Schwab just added Chainlink. Here's what that actually means in plain English 1. Who even is Charles Schwab? Schwab is one of the biggest, most old-school, most trusted places in America to keep your money. Retirement accounts, stock portfolios, savings with 40 million people keep their money there. $11.77 trillion total. Schwab doesn't add things to please crypto. They add things after months of legal review, risk checks, and internal debate about whether it's safe enough for regular people's retirement money. 2. What did they actually announce? Right now, on Schwab, you can only buy two cryptocurrencies: bitcoin:native and ethereum:native. Starting in a few months, you'll also be able to buy 3 more: Solana (solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112) Avalanche (avalanche-2:native) Chainlink (ethereum:0x514910771af9ca656af840dff83e8264ecf986ca) Out of thousands of tokens that exist, Schwab has only ever said yes to 5. 3. Why does the @chainlink matter more than people realize? @Bitcoin, @ethereum, @solana, and @avax are all the same type of thing, they're blockchains. Picture them like separate countries, each with their own economy, apps, and users living inside them. People get that. It's an easy story to tell. Chainlink is not a blockchain. Chainlink is more like the translator and messenger that stands between all these blockchain "countries" and the real world. It's what lets a blockchain know what the price of gold is right now, or confirm that a bank wire actually went through, or trigger something automatically when a real-world event happens. Nobody buys Chainlink because they want to hang out in it like an app. They buy it because it's the wiring that makes everything else work properly. So when Schwab, a company that is famously careful and slow, puts Chainlink on the same very short list as Bitcoin and Ethereum, that's them saying: This isn't a popular coin, this is important infrastructure. That's a different kind of endorsement than "this token is trending." 4. Why should they actually care? Because of what this does to accessibility. Right now, to buy Chainlink, you generally need to know how to use a crypto exchange or a wallet. That's a real barrier most people never cross it. After this update, someone's mom, who has never touched crypto and never will use a crypto app, can open the same Schwab app she checks her retirement account on, and buy Chainlink in a few taps, right next to her stocks. That's a massive unlock in terms of who can actually access it.
NEW: Charles Schwab to add LINK to its Schwab Crypto platform. As the largest brokerage in the U.S., Charles Schwab serves 40 million brokerage accounts and manages $11.77 trillion in client assets.

These are the 2 pages that actually matter in @StanChart’s analysis of $LINK Here are the key takeaways: - Chainlink offers a unique combination of 4 things: bringing data onchain, transferring assets seamlessly across chains, built-in compliance, and an execution layer that optimizes how all of this works together - Chainlink already dominates tokenization and DeFi infrastructure - and nobody else is even close - Most “competitors” focus on just one piece of the puzzle and still struggle to deliver reliably. Chainlink covers the entire stack and has never failed - Standard Chartered projects Chainlink’s revenue to grow 25x by 2030, driven primarily by the expansion of tokenization and DeFi - Their $200 $LINK target is essentially based on that 25x revenue growth And here’s the important part: They used the current ~$8 $LINK price as their starting point. $8 × 25 = $200 But $8 is a bear-market-bottom type of token valuation, making this a very conservative starting point. Just one year ago, $LINK traded around $25. Applying the exact same logic from that base would give you: $25 × 25 = $625 And arguably, the multiplier should be even higher today, considering Chainlink adoption has continued to grow since then and the multiplier would have been bigger last year. Long story short: extremely bullish. The infrastructure is becoming critical. The adoption is accelerating. And yes - the token is needed.

One of the biggest political misunderstandings in America is that people keep confusing communism, socialism, democratic socialism, and social democracy as if they’re the same thing. They’re not. MAGA calls everything to the left of them “communism.” That’s intellectually lazy and historically wrong. But here’s the Hyparadox: parts of the left don’t help either. Many people around Bernie Sanders, AOC, and Mamdani advocate policies that are much closer to Nordic-style social democracy, yet they still call themselves for some reason a democratic socialists. That creates even more confusion and gives MAGA an easy target. It reminds me of calling a real Football ⚽️ a soccer. I was born under real socialism and communism in Poland. I watched that system collapse, I hated it. That’s exactly why I support social democracy, not communism and not authoritarian socialism, or democratic socialism. Democratic Socialism is a one step before socialism which usually leads to communism. Social democracy means a democratic capitalist economy with a strong safety net, universal healthcare, workers’ rights, and equal opportunity. That’s Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland. Those countries are not communist. They’re among the freest, wealthiest, and most innovative societies on Earth. Democratic socialism is criticizing capitalism, which social democracy is actually based on. The same thing happens with Israel. I support Israel’s right to exist. I support Jewish people. I always have. At the same time, I have no problem saying: Fuck Netanyahu, his government, and anyone who supports policies I believe are immoral. Criticizing a government is not the same as hating an entire people. America desperately needs to stop arguing with labels and start arguing with reality.

Yes, we are early with RWAs outside stablecoins being in the ~$20Bn range, but it is also inevitable that institutional tokenization across a connected set of chains and existing systems takes hold and reinvents the entire financial system. It is inevitable and will happen slowly and then all at once, just like the internet.
Tokenization is shaping the next evolution of global markets. In @TheEconomist, Larry Fink and Rob Goldstein discuss how tokenization can modernize market infrastructure, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and access by connecting traditional and digital finance. Read more:

Grayscale research team members are suddenly retweeting @ChainLinkGod. Today they shared one of the best recent research papers on $LINK, basically calling it the best investment tied to the rise of tokenized finance. This is not random. The clock is currently running toward the projected December 2 launch of the Grayscale $LINK ETF. ETFs decentralize the $LINK narrative. Asset managers will push their own story as they sell their product (fees). We are about to see the classic Sergey slides being presented by the biggest firms in the world. The narrative will finally escape the echo chamber. And remember Chainlink has the strongest narrative of all.

Hotter take: Institutions have been here since the beginning. But you guys stopped at Chainlink is just an oracle. $LINK marines already told you but you didn't listen xitter.cf/nullpackets/status/192…
VC's and KOL's have the luxury of shifting narratives whenever there is new value to extract. Systemically Important Financial Market Utilities dont have that luxury. While VCs have sold you everything from memecoins to depin - Chainlink and @swiftcommunity have had one focus - bringing all the world's value onchain. $LINK #Swift CRE CCIP CCT #ISO20022

#Zcash is great. But wait until they find out Chainlink just invented privacy on ANY blockchain
Building on years of innovation and engineering, we’re announcing Chainlink Confidential Compute, a breakthrough service that unlocks private smart contracts on any blockchain 🧵⬇ blog.chain.link/chainlink-co… The lack of privacy for smart contracts is the greatest barrier holding back large-scale institutional adoption of onchain finance—we’re fixing that. Chainlink Confidential Compute unlocks a new class of private smart contracts that connect to real-world financial data and Web2 systems and interoperate across blockchains while keeping proprietary data, business logic, external connectivity, and computation fully confidential. This unlocks new, previously impossible onchain use cases for institutions, such as: • Private Transactions: Enable onchain value exchange with confidentiality, concealing key transaction details so transactions and market positions remain confidential. • Privacy-Preserving Tokenization (RWAs): Bring new types of institutional real-world assets (RWAs) onchain, such as tokenized bonds, private credit pools, and fund allocations, without exposing investor information, deal sizes, or pricing terms. • Confidential Data Distribution: Monetize and securely distribute your proprietary data onchain, such as benchmark indices, reference rates, and valuations, to approved subscribers only in a privacy-preserving manner, while also giving smart contracts the capacity to perform operations without revealing underlying data. • Privacy-Preserving Cross-Chain Interoperability: Execute transactions across public and private blockchains without revealing key transaction data to Chainlink node operators or other third parties, enabling use cases like Delivery vs. Payment (DvP) settlement where tokenized assets and stablecoins/CBDCs exist on different chains. • Privacy-Preserving Identity and Compliance: Prove compliance and verify identities using existing identity providers and APIs without revealing underlying personal or institutional data onchain or to the nodes themselves.

"Ripple is a goofy business. For more than a decade now, the company has held vast quantities of magic beans known as XRP, which it dumps onto the market at regular intervals. It’s not clear why anyone needs these magic beans, but people buy them anyway, and that has made Ripple very rich—so rich that this week it casually spent $1 billion to buy a treasury management company called GTreasury. The question is how much longer Ripple can keep its magic bean factory humming." aol.com/finance/ripple-branc…
