Do we need to migrate just because a new API exists?
For us, no.
But Navigation 3 was something we actually needed.
Here’s why 👇

We talked about how we turned our passion project into a company, and the journey of building Box Box along the way.
@Kamal_K2 and I had a great time sharing our story with @_chuckyc on the @LaunchedFM

Widgets are a big part of @BoxBox_Club, but static previews didn’t always show what users would actually get.
I wrote about how Generated Widget Previews made the widget picker experience feel more dynamic in @Android

This is where I feel the line between inspiration and copying starts to blur.
Using a product as inspiration, understanding what works, and creating something original from those learnings is completely fine. But using GO Club screens as a reference and then recreating very similar ideas, patterns, or experiences feels more like copying than inspiration.
My issue here is not simply that @mobbin is exposing these screens through MCP. Mobbin is providing access to references, but what someone chooses to do with those references is on them. Still, seeing how easily our work can now be surfaced and used this way has changed how I feel about having @goclub_app on Mobbin.
At this point, I really want Mobbin to remove all screenshots and flows of our app from the platform. I was genuinely happy when Mobbin first featured us. It felt great to see our work recognised and shared with the design community. But now I’m starting to see the other side of that visibility, and the cost of it is something I’m not comfortable with anymore.
At this point, I honestly don’t know why so many people are copying our app. Is it because I share too much of the design here, or because we got featured on Mobbin?
I genuinely enjoy sharing the work, the process, and the small details behind what we build. But when that turns into people copying screens, flows, and ideas almost 1:1, it takes the joy out of sharing.
I don’t want to stop posting, but right now, it feels like the only way to protect what we build.

I was surprised to know that Indian users are very much open to buying subscriptions now and you just can't bombard them with ads.
I caught up with app publishers and creators at the #IndiaAppSummit2026 to discuss AI integration, lock screen optimization, and the winning hybrid monetization formula.
The verdict from all these discussions came out to be that the future of monetization is Emergent, Explosive, and Intelligent.

And so the @BoxBox_Club copycats begin. 😄
On one end of X, you have builders and devs genuinely pushing boundaries and shipping incredible stuff.
And on the other, you have… this.
By “building,” @itsjustkevs, I guess you mean feeding our app screenshots to AI, asking it to copy the design, changing it just enough, and calling it your own. :D

Experimenting with new ideas is always fun.
Recently, I used Gemini to turn voice reactions into cleaner F1 race reviews.
I wrote a short article on the Android implementation:

Bengaluru was buzzing at the India App Summit 2026!
It was great to connect with India’s app developer community and share how we’re building @BoxBox_Club for F1 fans around the world.
We shared how we’re using @GeminiApp and AI to create smarter, more engaging features and experiences for our community.
