End-of-life care is vital for the dignity of all animals. Humans are animals, too, just self-domesticated.
We share so many similarities with other social creatures, except we have the opportunity, the responsibility, the blessing to be able to help & heal others. 🙏🏻❤️

About one week ago we were prepared to send Bertha off to her final walk, to return home as ground beef after a lifetime of beautiful service, grazing and life.
We made a last minute decision to keep her home on the farm, along with her daughter - Izzy.
In doing so we hope to keep them as lead cows for the next herd we introduce this coming springtime.
Bertha has been a phenomenal cow - she was our first farm animal purchase. Her former owner was a wonderful married couple - the woman has since passed. May her soul rest in peace.
Bertha is aging and has only a few natural years more. Maybe fewer. But for now I’m thankful to be able to provide her with beautiful pastures and a peaceful life.
We are preparing very intense moves to take the farm full time in the coming year - if you visit, you may just get to see (and even pet) Bertha. Not Izzy though - she likes to headbutt.

🌼NEEDS A FAMILY!🌼
Flower is a beautiful one-year-old German Shepherd who we saved from being killed at a shelter last week.
She still needs to find her forever home!!
Transport available anywhere in the continental U.S. She is currently in Palmdale, CA.
She has some trauma from the shelter — the notes say she was attacked by another dog and didn’t fight back but might be nervous around other dogs, so would do best in a loving home that will understand and help her regain confidence. ❤️🐾
Please share so her family can find her!

@LisaClareRead2 looks like owner has taken down her FB page. I've gone back months on their posts & none of the links are working. So have been unable to check for an update. Have you any way of checking?
📣STOLEN ON 19TH JANUARY 2026 - RUPERT & MOUSE #CLONMEL #Tipperary #SOUTHERNIRELAND
#ÉIRE 📣
❔️❓️WHERE ARE RUPERT & MOUSE BEING KEPT? THE GARDAÍ KNOW WHO STOLE THEM❓️❔️
3rd September 2026: Text from owner's latest FB post:
"So finally a file has been sent to the DPP… what’s in this file remains a mystery after a complete lack of an investigation by the Gardai but it’s a step in the right direction after 40 emails and nearly as many phone calls . Let’s hope they will now prosecute and I don’t have to wait another 6 months … Would be so much easier if this man just told us what he did with Mouse and Rupert but it MAY ALSO GIVE THE STATE AN ACTUAL CONVICTION FOR DOG THEFT ON RECORD… you stole the wrong dogs #mouseandrupert #justiceformouseandrupert #stolendogs #dogs"

I rarely ask for help, but this time I am. As you know, I’m a huge animal lover and love sharing their happiness with you here.
Seal welfare is close to my heart, but I don’t want donations going toward fixing the mismanagement caused by various authorities. I’ve lived near the seal sanctuary my whole life, and seeing policymakers destroy 55 years of incredible work is heartbreaking. 😭
If you want to support the seals as well and want your money to go directly to the seals and their care, please donate. I’ll personally make sure it reaches the right place.
Thank you so much.
