We had an incredible Wednesday night ride with our friends and neighbours. We've explored our @Bourkevale community and the communities to the south, west and east of us..our next ride will be to get ice cream!

Tonight's going to be a really nice ride, led by Scotty and John. Both are volunteers @Bourkevale and this will be one of many rides led by our community members. Wish I could be there.Have fun everyone!

We're building momentum! We had 8 households including @scolphin join @Bourkevale for our longest ride yet! A little wind and some spitting from the sky didn't dampen our spirits. Along the way, folks waved and smiled at us.. this is what community building looks and feels like!

The best part of being involved in your community is the random meeting of great people. I'm grateful to have met @Beardune, Jodie and Janie, who rode out of the twitterverse to ride bikes with me @Bourkevale tonight. I can't wait for next Wednesday to do it all again..

This is huge for @Bourkevale /Bruce Park! Our community has been advocating for lower speed limits for some time and it is encouraging to know the city has listened! We're looking forward to working with @cityofwinnipeg to create the city's safest and most livable neighborhood!
