Very true. And it’s a beautiful video to say the least. 😍

Looks like this boy is going to wean very well in the next few months, (end of winter season). He is developing exceptionally well and I am looking forward to him filling up to maturity in the next couple of years. Ticking all the boxes I need him to tick for our future progeny.

I have always wondered how a #Limangus would look like as a true visual representative of the two breeds being Limousin and Angus. Thanks @PalabraRural, this answers my curiosity. @molale_tshepo, what do you think..?

Been going over a few pointers from the recent speech by the Acting Minister at the launch of the A Di Tsale Program. A lot of details to read into each segment of the speech.

From this set of lamb, I can almost tell with certainty from which Ram each lamb was Sired. The distinct trait on which each Ram was acquired is clearly defined on each set minus the over 90% female to male ratio we are getting so far, but the season only just kicked off.
Just keeping our fingers crossed that we finish our maternity shelters in the background seeing that now winter rains are becoming a norm, which was never the case until about 4yrs ago.

Is this an idea that will grow into us and for us..? There is a lot between these lines forming this story and I see a huge opportunity for local farmers if the whole process is managed best.
Sometimes I wish I had the power to just whisper into the ear of the Men and Women at the top who sit at these tables and make these decisions.
This is so true.
This has to be one of those cases that can be used for studying at universities. You know the old adage “A good time to plant a tree is ten years ago but the best time is now”.
Am not sure if it fits here but having had my ear and eye on this crisis as it unfolded and developed to where we are now, ten years ago would have definitely been the right time to come knocking at this here door.
The @BotswanaVaccine Institute #BVI has long been in a position to give aid, and the much needed science to SA as a neighbor and a valued cattle industry ally. Though it’s never too late, l still say South Africa took just too long to react & contain this #BMD before it rooted itself as it seems it ALREADY has. Botswana was always a test case to study from and at best, better herself in terms of protocols to establish and follow.
One small step for for China, one giant step for Botswana, until they taste Botswana beef and then they will realize it’s actually a *HUGE* step for China too.
