Last week our #AGenT Postdoc Fellow @Yuxiihoohoo at @cragenomica traveled to Canada 🍁 to carry out her secondment at @UCalgary with #DrMarcusSamuel to work on the two #Pisum CWR assemblies in the framework of @COUSIN_project 🫛🫛 Best of Luck Yuxi, and lots of progress!
@cragenomica very first nanopore run was on #wheat CWR Aegilops @COUSIN_project! 🌱🌱 You can see by the faces that we’re pretty happy with the first result :) Joint effort with @LlorencRovirosa and @Rcastanera86 to set everything up.
Discussing plant domestication and management practices in SW Asia with coleagues from archaeobotany and ecology is always rewarding!! Heading home with new ideas, hypotheses and potential collaborations. Thanks for having me!!
