TBH, I mostly listen to Spaces with an earbud while driving my kids around or running errands. I never really speak, but you may have seen my comments on her recent streams. Jess called me early last January as an “investigative journalist,” promising to help get eyes on my dad’s story. Before we hung up, I explicitly told her I wasn’t ready to share and needed time to think. I kept apologizing. She said she understood and wouldn’t share it. Two or three days later, I woke up Saturday morning to texts asking if I knew she was already streaming about exactly what I’d asked her not to share. I spent that day crying. I was already so defeated by the Norfolk DA’s office that I couldn’t carry more anger. That afternoon, I actually texted her to thank her, saying maybe this was the push I needed—even though I’d begged her to wait. I sent her deeply personal information and documents about my dad. She never responded. After that one phone call, I never heard from her again.
