She has heard all the evidence for how PPE achieved nothing.
Yet concludes a lack of PPE was the problem.
She has heard the evidence that spread was long distance in aerosols not droplets.
Yet thinks more testing was the problem.
Skin deep thought.
BREAKING: Covid inquiry chair, Baroness Heather Hallett, says that action to protect care homes came too late causing it to "spread like wildfire".

It is not just being added to bread.
The range of foods with it in is astonishing now.
Sauces, dips, sausages, stock cubes, soups, noodles, oven chips, sweets, ice cream, breakfast cereals, spreads, drinks and even baby food.

I do not believe that the Government should be adding folic acid to our bread.
Food should be as natural as possible. That is not a controversial position.
We are now in the absurd situation where politicians think they should decide what goes into the everyday food of millions of British people.
There is an important difference between recommending a supplement to those who need it and making its addition compulsory in a staple food consumed by the entire population.
Education and targeted supplementation is the answer.
Why must the solution always be another blanket government intervention for tens of millions of people?
People should be able to buy ordinary bread without having unnecessary products forced in by the state.
Clear labelling. Informed choice. Targeted healthcare.
That simple - that's the Restore Britain position.
Keep our food as natural as possible, and let the British public decide what they eat.
I will make that argument in Parliament following the successful petition.
Leave the sodding bread alone.

The flour millers said ALL millers were adding it by September 2025.
ALL your non-wholemeal flour consumption since then has been laced with folic acid.
The labels did not tell you (see article in next tweet).

If you buy food from supermarkets much of it will contain synthetic folic acid & so high doses will be taken by some people. See @ClareCraigPath for information about the toxic effects & why it should not be in our food. Sign her petition.

There has been no research on safe levels of folic acid for children & babies but they are adding it to infant foods & formula feeds. There is no reason for doing this.

Government policies are runaway trains.
People never think about pausing or stopping.
It is always full steam ahead.
Much of the research on folic acid harm came AFTER the experts first advised to add it.
That is the problem.
No way to U-turn.

Great wine
Our No. 2 Argentine Wine of the Year is the Zuccardi Malbec Valle de Uco San Pablo Aluvional 2023. Sourced from the Finca Las Cuchillas vineyard at an elevation of 1,400 meters in the Andean foothills, this exceptional bottling captures the cool, humid and frost-prone terroir of San Pablo. Typical of Zuccardi’s minimalist approach, fermentation and aging take place entirely in concrete vessels with zero oak influence, allowing the site’s sandy loam and calcareous gravel soils to define the wine’s purity and chalky precision.
Tight and intensely focused, it opens with aromas of fresh cherries, chalk, wild thyme, mountain herbs and white pepper. The palate delivers a deep, silky core of dark fruit balanced by fine, chiseled tannins, vibrant freshness and a lengthy, stony finish. Offering world-class pedigree and extraordinary value at around $60 a bottle, it is one of the top mountain malbecs of the vintage. Can I ask again. Anyone know a child with leukaemia or needing to avoid folic acid for another health reason?
There is no obligation.
Just a quick conversation to explain why I am asking.
