The first thing that I thought of as I opened my eyes this morning was,
Dear God, please let our consecration pay off. I know it’s out of love for you, but let it show that we meet with you💚

Healing from grief is a lifelong process and sometimes the healing never happens, we simply learn to live alongside the pain🙂
You are dusting your feet over your own congregation, and the excitement that follows is palpable.
You are not weeping that a lady can say such a thing in a hallowed gathering, and a large portion of the congregation (your congregation) reaffirms it.
You cut it out to post on your main page as marketing or what?
Maranatha.

Let me put this in all CAPS.
IF YOU WATCH THE FULL SERMON—LIKE I DID—AND YOU DON’T HAVE A CHANGE OF HEART TOWARDS PASTOR BOLAJI, YOU HAVE A STRANGELY CRITICAL SPIRIT!

If Pastor Bolaji is being blamed for not teaching his congregation properly, please visit churches where these things are taught regularly during midweek and Sunday services. Then speak to adult members of those churches about the same topic. You may be surprised to hear the same reasoning expressed in that clip.
This goes beyond Pastor Bolaji, his church or any denomination. It is widespread, and the churches are hardly the only places where these attitudes exist.
A pastor can devote years to teaching, counselling, correcting misconceptions and explaining the same principles repeatedly. None of that guarantees that every adult listening will understand, accept or practise what is taught. At some point, the responsibility for what a person believes, says and does must rest with that person.
How long are we going to hold pastors responsible for the reasoning of adults who have parents, personal experiences and minds of their own?
These attitudes are widespread and deeply entrenched. Blaming one pastor will neither explain them nor address them.
Do you pastor a church sir?
So if politicians come your church, you go chase them?
Make we sha try dey logical for this app.

Anyone shocked about Bolaji Idowu…?
This was 6 days to the 2023 Governorship election.
By their association, you know where they stand. It’s not hard.

MEN DEY!!!
Let me put this in context.
During yesterday’s teaching on expectations in relationships, we discussed what a 26-year-old woman should reasonably expect from a man at a similar stage of life.
We talked about expectations such as owning a car, having an iPhone, or receiving a monthly allowance of ₦1 million.
In the course of the conversation, a lady made a comment, and I asked her twice to repeat what she had said. The congregation echoed her response so I could hear her clearly.
This does not mean every woman in the church shares that mindset.
That moment is being interpreted in ways that miss the context of the conversation.
The point was simple: there is a difference between having standards and having expectations that may not be realistic for the stage of life you and your potential partner are in.
This was never about telling women not to have standards. It was about understanding that expectations should also be grounded in reality.

This should give you some perspective about why he talks about marriages and relationships a lot in his church. It’s a youth church so sermons like that are needed to change a lot of mindsets like this.
This! ❤️
Pastor Bolaji's response is sufficient for anyone who is reasonable.
You people just have anger ready to be directed at any and everything.
Don't date married men who will raise your taste because when you meet single men you judge them by the level of provisions the married man was giving you.
This can cause marital delays.
He said that clearly.
So he should carry cane?
He that had an ear ni. The people who don't have ears are the ones going mad about this .
End of.
Y'all should go and talk to your sisters and siblings at home. Pastor has done his part
