Love your sentiment. Point of correction: It's not exactly a resurrection. The user group that has assumed control of the original Boston Unity Group's Meetup page is in fact a different org, not BUG. Our meetup page switched owners due to a series of events beyond our control.

We want to work more closely with the Boston community to support all developers in the area, indies to AAA, on all platforms, to provide interesting presentations & content. There are many groups with a lot of overlap, and this move will benefit us all. [2/2]
Following our announcement from yesterday, we wanted to clarify: we're still in the area and we will continue to support the community! We will be joining forces with the organizers of other groups under the Boston Game Dev banner.
