Hi all, just sent out this post. Trump and Putin tried very hard to corner Zelensky and put him in a terrible position. In return he has shown that the best way to deal with both bullies is to stand up to them and dont play by their rules. Its a lesson Europe must learn now.

Always remember Trump is not looking to make a deal, he’s not mediating between Ukraine and Russia, he’s not going back and forth, etc. He wants Putin to succeed and would be more than happy to see Ukraine suffer.

Got some stick about this post this morning, but would say it’s proven to be exactly right. European leaders have been humiliated (once again) by their pandering to Trump. And this time they have boxed Zelensky in shamefully.

Hello All, just sent out my free weekend update. The last 24 hours confirms the reality of European weakness. European leaders pretended that Trump was on their side, but when push comes to shove, Trump refuses to abandon Putin. It’s repetitive and depressing.

Just sent out this post. Trump is one of the worst negotiators in foreign policy history (as his deal with the Houthis shows). When it comes to Putin, he has already given away the farm, so that Putin’s negotiating floor now is higher than the ceiling would have been with Biden.

I sent out this piece yesterday. Trump's final plan is basically Russia's plan, which would legitimize Russian conquests and provide Russia the best possible situation in which to rebuild its military--while giving Ukraine nothing. Europe needs to stand with Ukraine now.

OK, sent out this free piece on the details of the Trump "final" plan for Ukraine that has been seen by Axios. The 5 points have basically been dictated by Putin. They set up a process which would allow Russia to expand into all of its neighbors.

Hi All, with all the news swirling around today of Trump trying to force Ukraine into a bad deal--and threatening to walk away if the Ukrainians refuse, I wrote this piece about the positive or negative ways that could work out for Ukraine. Alot of it comes down to how Europe and China react.

Looks like this Trump tweet was pleading aimed at Ukraine to get the Ukrainians to accept a deal that he has worked out with Putin. The deal is a Putin dream. Ukraine must legally hand over Crimea, gets no occupied territory back and is barred from NATO.

If the USA selected the President and all Cabinet members by picking names of random US citizens out of a hat, the country would be better run than it is at present.
