just watched spider-man: brand new day and honestly, i’m disappointed with how marvel keeps handling peter and mj’s relationship. after watching their bond grow over three movies, it’s frustrating to see their reunion constantly dragged out. i understand that peter’s sacrifice in no way home was supposed to have consequences, but as a viewer, there’s a point where emotional storytelling starts feeling like unnecessary, forced drama. keeping them apart over and over doesn’t make the story more meaningful, it just makes it exhausting to watch. what could’ve been a great movie ended up being genuinely disappointing because of it.
