New paper in @JPGNonline! Low sleep quality has a direct association with greater pain intensity in youth with DGBIs.
And depressive mood mediates the relation between sleep and fatigue, nausea.
Assessing and treating sleep is important!

We stand with the AAP and APA on the urgent need to address gun violence. Inequities, stigma, misinformation, & policy gaps all contribute to this public health crisis. Too often, the impact on caregivers of medically complex children is overlooked. So where can we start? (1/4)
Because of gun violence, too many children have missed too many moments. Let’s not miss ours. #EndGunViolence

Feeling the need to clarify a few things:
1. People with serious mental illness are more likely to be victims than to be perpetrators.
2. SSRIs don't cause people to murder other people.
3. Stop stigmatizing mental health to justify ignoring the evidence: Guns ARE the problem.
