What Gemini says regarding the new collaboration btw $nwbo and NHSBST- is this what may have been the holdup?? Sure is going to be a big help towards MAA assessment.

We’re living the Right-to-Try problem in real time.
My 18-year-old daughter Braelyn and I are currently in London so she can receive DCVax-L, an immunotherapy developed in the United States. Despite being pioneered by an American neurosurgeon and showing encouraging long-term survival data, we could not access it in the United States.
Instead, we’re paying hundreds of thousands of dollars, traveling across the Atlantic, and spending weeks away from home to pursue a treatment that originated in our own country.
Patients facing terminal illnesses deserve meaningful access to promising therapies—not just in theory, but in practice.
I championed Right to Try to give terminal patients the freedom and hope to access promising treatments without years of FDA delays.
Yesterday, I introduced Right to Try 2.0 to expand that freedom for patients needing individualized, one-patient therapies.
This is about medical freedom and putting doctors and patients at the top of the treatment pyramid.

I thought you & @andrewcaravello would be interested to see this then. In May I emailed the UK NHS Cancer Vaccine Launchpad (CVLP) to ask if they wld be expanding the scope of the platform beyond what seemed to be just mRNA based vaccines. I just received the attached reply

a David vs Goliath battle against greed in its ugliest form - allegedly trying to destroy a small public company with a promising brain cancer treatment.
The Goliaths couldn't stop the market manipulation lawsuit and the case is now in discovery
"The parallels to The Big Short are uncanny.
... in both cases, the moral hazard is stark: in 2008, bankers grew rich while millions lost homes; in NWBO’s case, traders allegedly profited while patients waited for innovation
Tens of millions of baiting orders left investors believing the company was a penny stock with no demand.
Just as mortgage brokers kept selling loans that everyone knew would default, spoofing created the appearance of endless supply when real buyers existed
Every story has a crack-the-glass moment.
In 2008, it was Lehman Brothers’ collapse. By then, no one could deny the system was rotten. The house of cards collapsed, defaults cascaded, and the AAA labels were revealed as fiction.
For NWBO, that day was May 10, 2022.
The company presented statistically significant Phase 3 results for DCVax-L in glioblastoma—a therapy that, for the first time in decades, showed survival benefit in both newly diagnosed and recurrent disease.
In a rational market, that should have been the equivalent of Burry’s CDS paying out.
Instead, the stock collapsed 78 percent in a single day, from $1.73 to $0.3862.
The optics of May 10 echo Lehman.
It was the day reality and price diverged most violently.
A breakthrough therapy was priced as failure, just as AAA securities were priced as safe days before they collapsed
Discovery is now the turning point.
For Burry, vindication came when default data surged through the system.
For NWBO, it will come when order logs, code, and chat transcripts are revealed. If they show traders stacking and canceling orders with intent, the illusion is broken. It becomes not just a story of weak stock but of deliberate manipulation...."

Why doesn't the @MiamiHerald even mention that Ken Griffin's company, Citadel Securities, is being sued for alleged market manipulation by Northwest Biotherapeutics, which has a promising treatment for brain cancer??

No, that’s not how MHRA handles applications.
If an MAA gets rejected or bounced, there’s a formal record. It doesn’t just disappear to make backlog stats look cleaner. There are only a few legitimate ways something comes off the books:
1. Approved. License granted. It exits the queue.
2. Rejected. Formal refusal, fully documented.
3. Withdrawn. The company pulls it. Also logged.
4. Paused. The review clock stops if MHRA requests more information, but the application remains active.
5. Labeling. After internal approval, the final label or SmPC is finalized. This step is confidential but completely standard.
So no, there is no workaround that lets MHRA bury a failure in another category. If something drops off the public queue, it is either approved, withdrawn, or quietly entering the final labeling phase.
In NWBO’s case, NICE confirmed on July 15 that the company is still fully engaged with MHRA. That wording would not be used if the application had failed validation, been paused, or withdrawn. It means the process is active. And when NICE adds that NWBO is not yet in a position to submit their evidence, that points directly to the one required missing piece: the final label. NICE cannot begin without it.
Labeling is the last step before public confirmation. It explains who the product is for, how it will be used, and under what safety conditions. And it only begins once MHRA has internally granted approval.
Nothing is missing. It is moving exactly as it should through the final gate.
At this point, this is probably the twentieth time I have posted some version of this answer. Maybe we should just pin it to the top of the board until approval happens.

We will not stop working until GBM patients have better prognosis. You are such an inspiration to all of us GBM researchers. I will continue to teach your case at my future classes and hope that one day we will make a difference in this devastating disease
Unfortunately there is a larger volume of quickly growing brain cancer (glioblastoma, IDH WT, unmethylated etc) in my left brain. The prognosis is poor.
Whilst some of my recurrent tumour was removed last week, some of it couldn’t be because of its site.
While the neoadjuvant triple doses of immunotherapy &/or anticancer vaccination I received may have made a difference in my brain tumour & survival, more work needs to be done in a clinical trial to prove this. Either way, I am proud of the data produced after treatment with neoadjuvant immunotherapy (and recently published in the prestigious journal Nature Medicine) which I hope will make a difference for others.
I greatly appreciate the support of all my family, friends & colleagues who have been looking after me so well & the incredible research that has been performed. I hope the latter will change the field & patient outcomes in the not too distant future.
