Send help. Trapped in @hudsonsbay ‘flagship’ store in downtown Vancouver. Where there are zero escalators and only one of four elevators working, going on at least two months. On the bright side, I’m getting steps in taking the stairs. Can’t be good for store sales!

@AM730Traffic @CityofVancouver @CityofBurnaby City of Bby to be commended on your plow if efforts! Hastings from Boundary east to Pt Moody clear both lanes. Meanwhile in City of Van, Hastings still slushy, appeared it hadn’t seen a plow by mid afternoon.
Meanwhile in @CityofPoMo trucks were climbing the steep hills doing garbage and recycling in icy conditions, also to be commended. And I’m waiting to get the notice from @CityofVancouver that green and garbage pickup will be cancelled in my hood because of these same conditions.

Kennedy Stewart won the yellow polling stations — north Kits, Fairview, Mt. Pleasant, Grandview-Woodland, Hastings-Sunrise, the Downtown Eastside and the West End.

There are sidewalks on all these roads, think we have reached a place on the pandemic where people have sufficient space in the neighborhood to use the sidewalks and not the roads.
