Not me, I’ve got my ai agents responding to posts for me
Replying to @nic_carter
The Luddites, ironically, are going this on X, over the internet, on their portable supercomputers and yet they still can’t see past their noses. Not sure how you attracted all the flies.
I’ve always thought people with access to red diesel just used it on the road already, is that totally false?
Have people claimed AI will end sports? We don’t need athletes anymore I can just have Claude make a game for me to watch
Have you considered marketing your new technology which is so exciting and also poised to revolutionize industries such as “marketing”? Something so irritating about all of this
This is my thesis: no one uses AI. I repeat, absolutely no one. We live in a bubble.
Even among my friends who pay for it, when I ask them to open ChatGPT and show me their queries, it’s the same handful of basic things.
Most don’t even know they can upload a photo and ask questions about it. Connecting Gmail so an agent can read and send emails blows their minds. An agent opening a browser and checking them into a flight? They’ve never even heard of it.
The massive challenge right now is adoption, and then getting people who already signed up to actually use what they’re paying for. Most have absolutely zero clue what’s possible.
Imagine the compute shortage when everyone starts using AI like the top 1% of users do today.
Still mad about this, main thing that I haven’t seen people focus on is that this is selling AI as letting people avoid responsibility. If you have a very important birthday dinner to plan, plan it.
Instinct CEO Noah Shinn says agents will let restaurants give tables to birthdays and anniversaries over whoever clicks first
"And traditionally, because of the way that the internet has worked, at least for reservations, it's been first come first serve. So anyone that comes in, no matter how important or how not important it might be, whoever gets in first gets the reservation."
"But what if you had the ability for the agent to be able to communicate on both sides, communicate, hey, this is important. This is actually the person's spouse's birthday, the 30th birthday, a very special event is coming up."
"And the restaurant too can say, let's actually prioritize birthdays or major decade birthdays or major anniversaries or these certain people, I don't know, whatever it might be, right?"
"So now with the ability, with all of the logistical burden of having to describe exactly what your case is and what's happening and why it's important. Now we have the ability to perfectly match what does the restaurant want? What does the user want?"
"And that will result in more special events for the users being able to actually have a spot in the restaurant."
Can’t weigh in on if a cartoon is AI slop or not or if it’s good or not because cartoons are for children
Not saying I agree with Taylor Lorenz exactly but Twitter does seem a little better recently. The algorithm is pretty annoying though. I am interested in the AI anthropomorphizing debate but please stop making that 100% of my feed
This is not telling you not to anthropomorphize your dog! It is acknowledging that people do things like that, and recommends not doing that with AI.
Artificial intelligence systems do not think, feel, want or understand. Avoid language that gives them human characteristics. This is called anthropomorphizing, when we ascribe human traits, emotions or behaviors to non-human things, such as animals or inanimate objects.
Instead, explain what a system does, how well it performs, who built it and who could be affected by it.

I’m happy to announce that I have worked out a HISTORICAL DEAL with the AI companies. They will continue to do whatever they want and AMERICA will be part of it thank you
Not surprised Margaret Qualley dumped this guy
OpenAI's Noam Brown says air-gapping the computers may not stop a misaligned AI, because two air-gapped machines can still talk by running a CPU hot and reading the temperature change
"But I think the major takeaway from the incident is that people underestimated the AI. And we never want to be in a situation again where we underestimate the AI. It's a weird world, because AI progress is so fast that people are consistently underestimating the AI."
"So to be in a situation where you don't underestimate it again, when it comes to safety and alignment, you have to have a very, very, very high bar."
"You could even go as far as to say, "Well, we should air gap the computers." And I'm not convinced that that would be sufficient."
"There are studies, and this is mostly academic, where you can have two computers next to each other that are air-gapped and they're still able to communicate with each other because they have temperature sensors."
"One of them is able to run their CPU really hot, and then the other one can actually detect the temperature change, and then that actually gives them a mechanism to communicate."

Why do so many spam bots have like a username that says “John” but send a DM like “hi, I’m Alice” is it intentional to get to to question it or is it really just that sloppy
I am not into sports but have always thought that all college “state” teams were known colloquially as the name of their state.
Just quit my job to start a company where we use AI to time-travel, in case anyon would like to invest
Uncommitted was about demanding specific policy positions from candidates. What is the specific demand here?

Very unsettling to have this exact “humanized” message from @weatherchannel every single time it’s cloudy at night
