Today, I had the opportunity to attend the CNNC Think Tank International Forum 2026 in Beijing, China. 🇨🇳
Under the theme “Nuclear Insights: Collaborative Innovation & Shared Solutions,” the forum highlighted the importance of nuclear science, technological innovation, and international cooperation.
Nuclear energy is an important source of low-carbon electricity. Unlike fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas, nuclear power generation does not involve burning fuel and therefore produces virtually no direct CO₂ emissions during operation.

I once told my girlfriend I had met someone else and wanted to end our relationship.
She simply replied, "I understand."
No tears. No arguments. Nothing.
Three days later, a package arrived at my doorstep.
Inside was an old photograph of me as a child with my late mother and a handwritten letter.
It read:
"Your mother saved my life when I was seven. Before she died, she made me promise to find you and make sure you never felt unloved."
I immediately called my girlfriend.
She answered, crying.
"I didn't fall in love with you because of that promise. I fell in love with you because, somewhere along the way, keeping it became the best part of my life."
I had spent three days testing the woman who had spent her life loving me.
I nearly lost the greatest love of my life because I was too busy testing it.
