It’s not the schools producing the footballers, it’s the clubs putting them in the schools. City, Arsenal, Chelsea etc all have relationships and financial agreements with private schools. The combination is a big development aid. Mutually beneficial.
A growing number of young football talents are coming through independent schools, where football programmes now offer specialist coaching, sports science and professional-level scouting.

The Premier League made a rule change this season: Appeals have to be concluded WITHIN 12 WEEKS of being submitted.
City’s lawyers can argue this rule DOES NOT APPLY since they were first charged in 2023, BEFORE this new rule was introduced.
