And they think Rahul Gandhi started speaking against patriarchy only recently.
This video would humble them🔥

Saurav isn’t giving an inch. 🔥
“We are in an “emergency”. This is a police court. There is no justice.”
Two more days of custody for him and Ashutosh.
Six days behind bars, and not an ounce of fear in his voice. ✊

Rang De Basanti planted the seed. Ashutosh Ranka lived it. 💔
He left a McKinsey career in London to come home and do something for India.
Today he's behind bars after protesting with the Tricolour.
Imagine punishing that kind of love for your country.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to see this .. BRILLIANT !! Shame and name this man …

Ranka left a comfortable life in London because he refused to be a bystander.
Now he's in jail. Our turn now.
To those keeping him there: you can lock him up. You can’t make him stop caring about this country. Dekh lena. I know my friend.
Release Saurav and Ranka. NOW.

Delhi Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) court extends CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka’s judicial custody by 2 days.
Das and Ranka have been in jail since October 14.

Release Ashutosh and Saurav!
In 2024, Ashu had called me for advice asking me if I thought he should leave his McKinsey job to work for Jaipur where he’s from.
I had just been radicalized and heartbroken by the entire top leadership of AAP being in jail at the time. I told him, “Ashu this is the Wild West. You might believe that you will do everything right and follow all the rules, and keep your head up and do what’s right. But if the state wants to crush you, it will - and no one will care.” The optimist that he is, he obviously didn’t listen to me.
Three months ago, when Ashu took the plunge and joined CJP and became the lead negotiator on behalf of students with JP Nadda, I thought, Wow, how wrong was I! Maybe India has turned a page.
Cut to today - when Ashu is indeed being crushed by the state for his existence.
The point of this story is - Ashu is an inspiring person not just because he has walked into jail with a smile for the crime of holding a Tiranga in Jantar Mantar. It is also because he has always known the consequences of fighting this fight, and yet made the choices that he did.
It takes a certain crazy to face down the bully and take him head on. And Ashu is that crazy, both for his own good and not.
Release Ashutosh and Saurav NOW!

The ordeal that @AshutoshRanka and @SauravDassss are going through should tell you that there is no judiciary, no rule of law, no constitution no nothing.
They have destroyed everything India had fought for.
Regardless of whether you agree with them or not, speak up for them because if they aren’t free you aren’t either.

Saurav and Ashu are probably two of the most incredible young people I know.
They are committed, driven, and care more about this country than you could possibly imagine. To see the BJP twisting the law so sadistically to "punish" them is disgusting. Sad state of affairs.

You make people wait 5 hours at the police station, hold a 10 minute hearing, and then push it again?
Saurav and Ashutosh should’ve been out after day 5 Deliberately dragging out paperwork to keep activists locked up is as dirty as it gets.
The bail hearing of Cockroach Janta Party functionaries Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka was put off Sunday after the special executive magistrate failed to arrive at the scheduled time, and later recused himself citing threat to his life.

Tiger Shroff was shot at by a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang outside Jamnabai Narsee School, one of the most prestigious schools in India.
Think about who was on that ground: hundreds of children and their parents. Kids who came to play, now carrying memories of gunfire they may never shake off.
If this can happen outside one of India's top schools, in broad daylight, no one in Maharashtra is safe.
This is the state of law and order in Maharashtra today.
Lawrence Bishnoi is a criminal. Everyone knows it.
So why does he run his empire from behind bars?
Why do threats, extortion and murders keep happening in his name?
Why does the state never seem able to stop him?
Because a criminal this protected isn't working against the system. He's working for it.
This is India today. This is Modi and Shah's India.

Why is there such deafening silence around @SauravDassss’s arrest?
Saurav has been so much more than just the leader of CJP. He has contributed immensely to journalism, too.
Why isn’t the journalistic fraternity actively standing up for him?
The silence is baffling!

The way Sahil Wakode's parents have been detained by the Police! Tell me, no matter where you stand, doesn't that video itself make you feel intense pain and empathy for the couple who lost their child? Where is your humanity?

Yet another FAKE NEWS by this idiot
Our protest was in front of Gandhi’s statue. This is an old video of some old protest.

The State doesn’t always need to deny liberty. Sometimes, all it needs to do is delay it, one hearing at a time. What is happening with @SauravDassss & Ashutosh is a reminder that the process itself is the punishment.

The respect Delhi Police has for gangsters…
Wish they showed even 10% of this courtesy to students and activists who are doing nothing but protest.
