BOEING WORKERS APPROVE NEW 4-YEAR CONTRACT, AVOIDING POTENTIAL STRIKE Boeing $BA’s largest white-collar union approved a new contract covering about 17,000 engineers, scientists, designers and technicians. The deal includes a 10% guaranteed wage increase at ratification, followed by 4% annual raises and up to an additional 2% based on performance. The vote removes the risk of a strike as early as Oct. 7 that could have disrupted 737 MAX 10 and 777X certification work, production ramp plans and aircraft deliveries. 68% of the professional unit and 53%+ of the technical unit voted in favor.
