I also want to thank the criminal justice reform community from which this campaign was born and Austin DSA who worked so hard over the last few months. Big changes take time, and the fight for a more equitable and just Travis County will continue.

I also want to congratulate Commissioner Brigid Shea on a well-run campaign. We spoke last night & agreed to work together on transformational criminal justice reform issues. She has my full support in building on the boldly progressive climate change policies underway in TravCo.

Bob Libal, running for Travis County Commissioner in Precinct 2, will give us a 3rd vote to once-and-for-all defeat building a new, bigger women's jail. This gives us an opportunity to increase spending on services like mental health that promise to reduce women's incarceration.
